the first sun

Went out for a couple of hours today and got some sun. What a way to start. After that,we went to the store for the week. Your dad had to finish in the car because he did't feel good. he has been real fun today. We got him some drugs so he should be getting better. Right now he is asleep again.

We had pizza for dinner tonight. Your sister is in the other room doing homework. What a good child. She sat in the sun today also, but she doesn't have the patience to sit out for long.

Tomorrow morning we will go hit golf balls and go to Lumpy's, the golf store. What a way to start the vacation.

It was nice talking to Dylan twice today. He said that once you figured out what you were doing wrong, you didn't hit a bad ball. That should be re-assuring. You went thru this last year at this time and you just hit ball after ball. You got a blister last year too. Then you wnet to WillametteValley and shot a 74. Just remember that. You will do finenext week. We were watching the women on TV today and they don't always hit the perfect shot either. They just walk up to the ball and think about their next shot. Ochoa was all over today, left with the driver, right with the irons, not even close to the fairway and I think she is still in the lead.

Enough about golf. How did the e-mail go with your roommate? You only have to put up with her for about 6 more weeks, then you get to start fresh with Saddie. That could be fun.

Speaking of housing next year, will you be able to take a tour of your room before next year? I hope so. then you can plan and buy stuff for it all summer (as long as you save some money for school).

Hope the girls are having fun in Eugene. It is suppose to rain some tomorrow, then be ok on Monday, but cold and wet on Tuesday. When they come back they will probably understand why you left the lovely Northwest.
