2 hour delay

Yes, read it and weep. We had a 2 hour delay today. No snow on the valley floor, but I guess it was slippery up in the hills. We had a fire drill at 8:30 this morning.

We went to the driving range yesterday and they hit the ball better. We are going to try and get on the course today. the course was unplayable yesterday, so don't feel bad about not being able to play. Hopefully, it will be playable today.

The boy's qualifying so far was ok. 1 42, 4-43's, and so on. Tommy Weeks shot a 49 and is in danger of getting cut. I will give you more info when I have it.

Hannah and Amber did ok last night but not as well as Heidi and Amanda. From the time I started talking to when I said good night it was 1:20 min. Not bad. the kids gave me a $50 to Carusso's (Italian) and a gift card to Starbucks. Because I didn't get home until 8:45, I didn't get to see all of AI. I am going to watch the ladies tonight.

All and all, a good night.

Your dad is sick again and the puppies got him up at 5 this morning because they heard the paper guy. West Salem girls won their first playoff game last night so they play lincoln Friday night up there.

Looks like you are rather cold today. Hopefully you will be able to play this weekend. Did Dave get the net set up? Did you ever get in to see Ryan? Is it your mid-term week this week? do you have any mid term tests?

Are you counting down the days until you fly out? I am. I need the warm weather.

have a nice day and stay warm.

Weather

quit complaing about your weather. Ours is nasty too. woke up this morning to huge, wet, snow flakes. Now, we have 39 degrees, feels like 29 because of the wind. We have a wind advisory until 7pm tonight. If you really don't like the weather, you could go to school somewhere else. Just think, less than two weeks until Phoenix. I checked tht weather today and it is supose to be in the mid 80's while we are there, and you get to stay extra time.

I e-mailed Dave about the shirt last night. He e-mailed back, said thanks and said that Jen's parents are also going to be at the tournament. I won't embarrass you too much.

Today, I'm gettting thins ready for the awards night tonight. Hopefully, it won't last for too long. I want to get home for some of AI.

We are going to the driving range again today. Ward and I ordered 20 team bags for the golf team. They will have to give them back at the end of the season.

How was lunch? I have the same thing every day. Yogurt, fruit, graham crackers and an orange. I have been hiving carrots too.

Hope your run went well and Dave gets the net up for you. don't get too depressed about the wether. That's why spring break is so great. You will be able to get through the rest of the year then.

Dear Parents

I'm going to write a dear parents letter today for the golf team. It is going to explain how and why i am making cuts this season. I want to warn them ahead of time so they know what to expect. We will be qualifying next Mon. and Wed.

Classic day today. Not much going on except for the fight. I know that one girl was suspended for 3 days, but I don't know about the other girl. You should have seen Cleary afterwards, she was pumped.

Weather here is chilly. There was snow on top of the west hills, but nothing like what you see. It is supose to be cool with showers the rest of the week.

It was nice to get your itinerary. It seems more like you are going now (know). It looks like you will have Wed. with your grandparents also since you tee off so early. What a nice week it will be for you. Maybe after we play on sunday, we will come and find you. At one time your dad thought it might be the best if sunday, we took you and your grandparents out to eat.

have a great day.

Swimming

SWIMMING:

Yes, I should be swimming. This does not look very inviting. As you know, when the sand box is this full, you know that we have had alot of rain.

Speaking of swimming, our awards night is Tuesday and tht is what I'm working on today. This year, I only had to do 8 pictures. Better than lst year. Those seniors last year almost broke the bank.

WEATHER:

Looked at your weather. It doesn't look like you will be playing golf any time soon. It looks pretty socked in. It looks just as bad in Boise. I guess the hitting net must be looking pretty good. The good news is that although it is two weeks away, it is suppose to be 81 in Phoenix when we go in on Sunday. I can hardly wait. Even if it's only three days in the sun it is better then zero. Yes, I know that you will have a week there. Go ahead and rub it in. Two weeks later, I will be rubbing in back. I think you will play great there too.

TID BIT INFO:
Got on Duke's web page and they are at a tournament in Arizona tomorrow. Rebecca is going, but as an individual. It will be interesting to see how she does. I don't think their weather has been great eight. They probably have good practice facilities though.

THE REST OF THE REST:
Right now I'm listening to some of the itunes that I downloaded. I don't know if you will like alot of it. I downloaded alot of stuff that I listened to in college. You probably haven't heard of half of the people or songs that I have put on the ipod. I will burn a CD for you though.

$5 pizza. How nice is that. We are having turkey sandwiches and chicken noodle soup this evening. It will be ok. Your dad didn't say anything about pizza tonight.

Right now, he is at a basketball meeting where they are picking the all district teams and coach of the year. He won't be gone too long. Tomorrow night he as a meeting at the Blue Pear ( or something like that) with some of the people from SAY golf. They are trying to get the district to take back some of the golf costs, like the coaches salories. I don't think that meeting will take too long either.

MCNARY GOLF:

I have decided to cut. We will qualify Mon. and Tues that first week in March. THose that don't make it will be able to do the Battlecreek thing on Tuesdays and Fridays. It a good deal. For $20, they get a lesson on Tuesday and get to play on Friday. If they want to come and putt with us or practice with us on the other days, that will be fine. I think everyone from last year who is back will make it (Kayla, Julia, Kate, Kaci, Kayla P., and Rachel) Your sister will make it. That leaves three more. KC's little sister is in't out yet because of the physical thing. I need to talk to her and see if that is soon. After that, I think one soph. might make it and two other freshmen. We will be young, but everyone will get to play every week. We are going out on the course this week. I will let you know how that goes.

Hope you stay warm and you feel better.

Belch

EATS:

Breakfast was Denney's. WE tried both OPH's but they had huge waiting lines.

Boy, was Yakisoba good. At the table we had beef, chicken, and shrimp. Your dad also ordered potstickers. He thought they were shrimp, but he liked them anyway.

After dinner we went to the new dutch Brothers in south salem. I'm still working on that.

THE DAY:

Went to Woodburn Outlet's today to find Kristin some new golf shoes. Thursday, she told me that she could feel her toes at the end of her shoes. I guess she has had those for awhile. WE ended up at teh golf course and Larry gave us a pair for $45.00. They retailed for $108 and he bought them as closeouts. They are pretty cute and fit her well.

Tonight, we are going to watch "The Departed". WE also got 'The guardian" but your sister has already watched it. We will watch it later.

Hope the movie you saw was good.

Have a nice Sunday.slurrrrp (White Mocha)

MOM

PS. We just almost had a fight over ED. Maddie was siting on the couch by ED. All of a suddden she saw what she was sitting next to and jumped down. Lexi was up on the couch imediately took control of ED.

Cold

We actually had some snow mixed in the rain about an hour ago. I wonder if your sister will still want to go and hit balls today? It is suppose to start raining tonight and not quit for a couple of days. Your dad will be upset because he won't be able to play golf on Sunday.

Talked to Ward this morning and the boys are really qualifing next week. John shot a 41, 46 for practice rounds, Robbie 45,46. I don't know what the rest of them shot but he will e-mail you when they qualify. That will be next Mon. and Tues.

Checked the Phoenix weather and the week before we get there it's suppose to be in the 80's. I can't wait.

I told Cleary that you were going to watch Erin play tomorrow. cleary thinks that you really need to go and say something to her. suck it up. Cleary thinks that Erin would get a big kick out of it.

What else is on your ajenda for the weekend?

your dad gets home at midnight tonight. he might have to sleep in the spare bed room. The puppies are hard to move once they are asleep.

Allan McLeod is going to puppy sit over spring break. I really think he will do a great job.

It was nice hearing from you last night. Did the snow stick?

Hopefully you will find enough to do this weekend to stay out of trouble. right now, I need to work on swimming stuff to get ready for the dessert Tuesday night.

Time

I have some time, so I thought I would do this now.

Ward is the new football coach and he is really happy about. He is floating on cloud nine. He even gave me a big hug in front of all of the gym classes this morning.

Tye Wilson gave me a burned disk with a bunch of stuff on it. I'm listening to it right now and picking songs I want to put on my ipod. There are like 172 sons on it. Firefall, Al Jereau, Al Green, Gordon Lightfoot, Loggins and Messina and Poco are on it. I know that you don't know who evryone is but there are some good songs on it.

Practice is at the golf course today. It hasn't rained all day but it looks like it is about to. We will see who shows up.

Your dad called last night and said he is staying in a real nice place. The putting green ( a really nice one) is right outside his sliding glass door. He says that he wouldn't have enough time to use it. The weather there isn't too great. It's suppose to rain tomorrow.

I have breakfast club tomorrow morning for Amber and Natascha. Your sister gets to go with me so that she can get to school. No practice tomorrow, so I will take Kristin to the driving range. I wonder if we can find the range card? Oh yeah, we fond it and then used it all.

Hope you had a good workout and you find something to do this weekend. I know we will.

OHHHHHH DEAR

You are prpobably over at Dylans right now having a good dinner. How did the golf go today?

Well, we went to the driving range today. Dear, oh, Dear. I have 4 girls that cannot hit the ball. It's terrible. Your sister is the most consistant, but Julia and Kayla look pretty good. Katie won't be there until Monday, but she is one of the better ones. Kaci LInton showed some signs of brillance and Kayla Pierce isn't too bed. She is better than when she started lst year. So is Rachel Klopp. There is one freshman that can hit the ball and will be around 5-6 on the depth chart. KC Weeks little sister is coming out, so we will see what she is like. I might need to cut. I can't see some of those girls on the golf course right now. There is 1 senior, 1 jr. and at least 5 frosh. I think I wrote you that yesterday.

On the boys side, they were terrible yesterday. They all shot ( the newbies) in the mid 60's to 70's except Dan Keyy's son who shot in the 50's. Ward might keep 11 just so he can keep him. I guess John shot a 41 yesterday. How often will he do that?

Your dad is in sunny Phoenix. He called and said it was rather sunny and nice. He didn't take his clubs so you know he won't have too much fun. He will be home Friday night.

We are offering the football job to someone and if they accept I will let you know who it is. I'm sure you can guess, you know him. I just can't really say until it is official.

You keep evading the question. How did you do on your quiz? It must be bad if you are not telling us.

Today at school was college day. I was supporting three different schools:Willamette, Idaho State and Oregon. I was quite a sight. I made quite the fashon statement.

I won't tell you what happened with AI, but I was not overly impressed. Let me know who you think was the best guy. I will watch the girls tonight if I can saty awake.

Hope you had fun at bio lab.

It's that time of year again

I wish it was like this today. WE actually practiced in 46 degree weather. It was about the only hour of the day that it didn't rain. It was windy and cold. This year I will have 1 senior, 1 jr (Julia) and at least 4 freshmen, maybe 5. Kayla Perry and Kaci Linton as well as Kate. Kate can't practice until next week because of BB. She did go to the driving range and said that she hit the ball well. It must have been OK if she was smiling and siad it was good. Your sister looks good out there even though we just putted and chipped. We will be in the top three.

Your dad didn't have to go to Redmond. It is really snowing over the pass. He leaves tomorrow morning for Phoenix for a small learning communitees worksohp. He really doesn't want to go but Mr John wants him to. He will be home late Friday night. He gets to go to Phoenix two times in three weeks. He is just upset that he doesn't get to take his clubs this time.

NO other news today. Very uneventful which is fine. I plan on watching American Idol at 8pm. Let me know what Bubb was talking about. I'm sure you didn't miss anything too important.

Good luck on your math quiz tomorrow and art quiz on Thursday.

What a Weekend

GDOD or are they waiting for their Katie to come home?

Got home last night at 11:45. Had quite an eventful day.
itunes:

In the morning, I downloaded 3 songs, Mat Kearney (More Than a Feeling), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Dani California) and Boston ( More than a Feeling). It didn't take as long as the day before. I'm going to take my time and wait for albums and songs that I really want.

SWIMMING:

We left a 1pm from school, and got to the pool at 2:15. Had an uneventful warm-up. First event was the 200 Med Relay. We were 4th or 5th going into the freestyle leg and Amber was amazing. We ended up 3rd and moved up one spot. Next, was the girls 50 free. Amber swam well but didn't work her turn very well. On Friday it was not very good, and that is what she was thining about. She ended up 2nd, but it didn't seem to bother her. She had a great attitude. Jeremy swam next and moved from 11th to a tie for 8th. His time was still in the 22's and he competed. The race of the meet, the girls 100 fly. Natascha has been sick for the last two weeks on and off. She went in tied for 2nd with a 57.9. Her walk in the finalist walk was very confidant. At the 50 she was third, but before the race she told me that she was confidant in her 2nd 50. That she was. She ended up 2nd with a 56.6. Best time of her life and an All-American time. Amber swam the 100 next and ended up 3rd. She just missed her best time but she swam a great race. She was very pleased. If she would have been in a fast pool she would have gone a 50. Boys 500. The freshman swam like crap, then blamed it on not being able to do dryland with Bearcats. He might decide not to swim next year and that is fine by me. 200 Free Relay, Tyler led off with a life time best of a 25.88. That hwas huge. Hannah was a little slow. We ended up 3rd with Amber swimming a 23.22. McMinnville touched us out by .2 but we set a new school record. Hannah ended up 8th in the 100 back, a little slwoer then the day before, but had a pretty good attitude. "I only getr 4:30 hours a week vs. these girls that put in 20. I'm happy" Girls 100 breast, Natascha ended up 9th after qualifing 7th. That was ok. After the meet we went to Mexican food and everyone ate alot. Good time had by all.

Katie's Golf:

So how did you play on Saturday. Glad you had a nice day to play. Were you hitting any good shots? Are you getting any homework done this week or are you having too much fun? Any chance of playing today before it starts to rain/snow?

Today:
Your dad just left to meet the insurance guy for a visit. Hopefully, we can get some more discounts on our policies. He is going to play today and 1pm. Mrs Cross and Mrs. Gahr invited Kristin me to play at noon. It depends on the weather. Tonight your dad and I have a SAY Golf meeting at 7.

Tomorrow:

Tomorrow, golf starts. I had one parent call and ask if I was going to teach the girls how to play. I told her that I would try. On my handout, I stated that if there are more than 10 girls, I might cut. We only have 3 weeks before our 1st match. I will have qualifing on the third week. Our first match is March 12. Does that date ring a bell? That is why your sister is not coming to Phoenix. She will be playing. Marlo is going to helpo Ward for me, then bring your sister home.

Talking aobut all of this golf, I'm listening to the movie"The Greatest Game Ever Played" Your dad was watching it before he left.

Hope you have a great day. Hope the sheets were nice to sleep in and tell Dylan hi. Don't they leave for another tournament soon? Don't forget to fill your mom in on any hot gossip .

MOM

PS. The dogs actually let me sleep in the last couple of mornings. 7am to be exact. It was nice. Your did did get up with them though the first time. This morning they didn't eat until 6:55.

3 hours

OK. It only took three hours to download the Dixie Chicks album, maybe even more. I got alot done during that time. I went to goodwill, the gas station, cleaned the main bathroom sink, cleaned the sliding glass door, vacuumed every room but the family room, grinded coffee, made lunch for Kristin, your dad and myself, and updated swimming stats. I evn folded and put away three loads of wash. How about that for productivity.

It is beautiful outside today. Your dad is working in the yard and the girls are out helping them when they are not trying to escape.

WE will leave school today at 4pm. I'm taking the boys to Chili's in Wilsonville before the meet. Warm-ups start at 6:15 with the meet starting at 7:30. It won't get over until 10pm. What a late night. Then, we leave tomorrow at 1pm for the finals. I will let you know how the boy's did in the morning.

I hope you had fun playing golf today. We are suppose to get rain starting tomorrow. AT least we had one nice day.

Have a great weekend.

STUFF

You look so cold. Are you really enjoying yourself?
Just wanted you to remember what you looked like tan. Sorry you cna't go with us to Palm Springs to work on that golden tan of yours.

This Evening:

Sitting here listening to Goo Goo Dolls writing this. The dogs just ate and now Lexi is playing with "ED" and Maddie is sitting in front of the fire. Your sister is watching something on TV. I don't know what it is. Oops, the dogs just high tailed it outsidechasing something.

Swimming:

I already talked to about how the girls did. I was very happy with them. Alot of people swam slower today thean they did at their district. We did too, but it was because of the difference of the pool. MHCC is soooooo slow. The girls are excited about swimming tomorrow. The boy's are going to have a rude awaking tomorrow. Oh well, at least they are getting the experience.

YOUR DAY:
How was your workout today? Did Dylan get enough of a workout in? Hope he didn't eat too many pancakes tonight. Do you do your regular weights then your knee stuff too?

What did they say about our necklace? What prescription did you fill? The one you got here for your face?

YOUR DAD:

I told your dad to disreguard the e-mail you sent him. He is at school right now setting up for a basketball game. Once that is done he is going back to wrestling to watch some of his boys. I saw him this morning at the swim meet watching his girls med.ey relay. He put some milage on the car today.

Tomorrow:
Tomorrow, we are picking up three boys at school at 4 and taking them to Chili's for dinner in Wilsonville. They don't swim until real late. Paul and Josh are going to meet us there because they are already both up there for different things.

Other Stuff:

When are you going to use your Applebee's thing? Are you going to use it on Dylan?

Tonight, I'm going to score out the meet to see if we have a chance to get 4th on Sunday. I kind of doubt it, but it will be interesting to see.

Hope you have a nice evening and a good day tomorrow. Just think, your roommate won't be there for a couple of days. If I think of anything else, I will e-mail.

Squats:

What a hoot. I had your sister try squats today. The first time, she went down too far and fell. she tried it again and did 7. They got better each time she went down. Let's see how sore she is tomorrow. Can't wait to hear her whine.

Today:
Today has been pretty calm. My classes went well and actually did some one on one teaching in badminton. I have some girls tht can't hit the birdie. We got past that today. Maybe I should be teacher of the year, at least teacher of the day.

After school I have a golf meeting. I'm going to tell them that we will practice on tuesday rain or shine. They better have some sort of rain gear. Hopefully, that will scare some of them away, especially those rally girls.

I might take your sister to the driving range, but right now it is really windy and rainy. If that is the case, we will go straight home.

I need to be back at school by 5pm. The state swimmers are going to Corvallis to work on starts. Everyone will be there except Joshie who is in Portland for the All NW Orchestra thing. He does get to swim on Saturday though. That's OK.

after we practice, we are going to Togo's for a quick bite to eat and should be home by 8:30. Then, off again tomorrow morning with the girls.

tonight, I think your dad is going to take Kristin out to dinner. I don't know where, but she is lucky.

ETC:
Hope everything goes OK with the shirts and you have a nice Art class tonight. When does your roommate go home for the weekend? Maybe she will leave tonight. Could you be that lucky?

We have one more interview today, then we pick a coach. I will be glad when all of this is over. I will let you know the decision.

Not much is happening today. Practice after school and dinner with the family at home.

American idol again tonight, picking the final 24. It was interesting last night.

Your mother is a Star

yes, that is me. I am a star. I really don't like all of the attention, but oh well. The drama teacher even brought me some very nice flowers. A very old music teacher called me to congratulate me and ed Gabriel even called. it's time to move on.

today has been pretty uneventful. i made a deal with a kid. he forged a note not to get his 4th non dress. i gave him the detention instead of turning in the forgery. He caught me on a good day.

We have another football interview today. I will be glad when this is over.

Your sister has an ortho appt. today. Marlo is going to take her home this afternoon so that she doesn't have to sit at Olinger.

natascha is back today and tyler duran is somewhat sick. You should be glad that you are not around here right now. I still have tons of kids out with one of two bugs. Ward had it and was out for a week.

tomorrow is the big Valentine's day. I have to go to Fred Meyers to get your dad some things after practice.

Let me know how the boy's do after you hear. At least Dylan came back a little bit. What time are they suppose to be home? Will it be a late one?

Just to let you know, I printed off a copy of your transcript for car insurance reasons.

did you actually go and play golf? How was your run/ How are your knees feeling?

How is English doing? did you get your first paper back?

have a nice evening. And remember, you are what you eat (cheese sandwichs and veggies).

Too Late

Rascal Flatts was on too late last night. I fell asleep before they came on. Maybe they will release a recording of all of the performers from last night.

today has been uneventful. Natascha is home sick again. We are practicing at 3. People are still really sick here. Some of my classes have half of the people gone.

Should be able to tell yuo who the new football coach is by the end of the week.

going to Detroit Ranger Station for the spring coaches meeting tonight.

Hope you get on the cuorse soon. Have you hit any balls lately? How is your knee feeling?

Suppose to rain here on and off for the rest of the week.

Kristin is in here eating today. She doesn't want to sit on the floor and have of her group is gone also due to sickness.

I am ready to go out in the Motorhome. We might go the the first weekend in March. The puppies want to go too.

Not much news today. Now I have to get info ready for the state swimmers. Hope you and Ally had fun lifting.

Remember When?

Just a friendoly reminder on what you are going to miss on our spring break.
White skin in Arizona will scare everyone away. I think this will be a good position for you.

We had a ton of rain early, early this morning. WE went and played golf anyway and didn't get too wet. It dumped after we were done. Some people came driving in rather quickly. While your dad was playing well today, he said that he was ready for you. He only had two bad holes. Just a brain fart.

Saw Allan's dad today. He was very happy with the way Allan swam. That is the first time that I have really seen him so animated about Allan and his swimming.

Talked to Larry today and he said that you were hired. AS far as he is concerned you don't need to fill in an app until you get here. He wants you to start in March. May will do.

We are having pizza tonight. Tomorrow night, your dad and I have a spring coaches meeting at Detroit Ranger Station.

I talked to your dad about your proposition about Kristin's b-day. He laughed and said that you would really want to spend two nights in a tent with your sister? He didn't say no.

Did you eat with anyone today?

Waiting until around 5pm to check the seedings for state. I think the girls will do pratty well. It will be interesting to see if anyone gets invited?

It's only 3:03 and the puppies are already waiting for dinner.

Tomorrow, I will send you all of the press about the district meet. My mug shot was on the front page of the paper. Your dad is getting tired of people saying something about the article and the great district we had. It was even bad in the Keizer Roth's. It ws his choice to go there. What a dummy.

Tonight, I will finish your FAGSA form and will sign it for you if I can. If not, I will give you a quick call so you can do it. Then that will be all done and they can start giving you some money. They can give you that loan again.

HOpe you are not too bored. At least you should be caught up on your homework. HOpe your weather gets better so you can go play some golf.

Stay your of trouble and I will e-mail you with how everyone is seeded.

WOW

The Trophy: Whitney drew the picture.

What a day. Another day that din't start out great. At school at 6:30 in the morning and Cassidy Nelson's mom comes in and Cassidy is at home sicker than a dog. One down. She was in the fly consols. Get to the meet and Alex Gilbert-Schrag has to scratch becuause she feels ( and looks) terrible. Wow.
Mongolian Grill was great. Everyone got enough food and some even had dessert. OUr Mongolian Grill in town is better than the one in Corvallis, but it's fun to eat somewhere else.
When Kristin and I got home we went bra shopping. What a thrill. Since we were close to Best Buy, we went over and bought a couple of CD's. If you have your laptop in Az. we will bring the new Fall out Boys (infinity on high) and my choice, the Goo Goo Dolls/ Let Love In. I'm listening to it now and it is great. I made a good choice.
Kristin and I are not going to eat dinner since we had a late lunch.
OK, I guess I better get back to the meet info. As you can tell by the picture, we won the girls meet. Everyone swam awsome. I am very pleased. Rochelle brok a min. on her last chance ever in the 400 free relay. Crystal went a 1:00 and Allison went a 57.8. Tyler Duran was the 4th and she went a 00 too. They went under a 4 and moved up two places to 3rd. The girls 200 free relay redeemed themselves after yesterday, with a huge win. They beat Sprague. Natascha went a 25 for the first time ever and Hannah was a low 25. Tyler and Amber swam great too. It might be a new school record, so might the 200 med. relay. Hannah had a great 100 back and tied for first with a club kid. Her finish was awsome and that is he tied. I was very happy for her.
The boys swam great. Before the meet today, I talked to the South coach and he had scored out the meet. Redmand out of reach, WS 208, SP 206, MCN 182. We had alot of points to make up. You need to say something to Allan. He had the meet of his life. A 2:04 in the 200 and a 5:46 in the 500. I was pleased with him. Jeremy is a double champ and went a 50.3 in the 100. Nobody was even close to him. Paul swam out of his head again. 56+ in the 100. My other two boys who swam 58's yesterday dropped to 57's. They gave it their all. The boys' 200 free realy wanted to move to third so they could get a medal and of course to beat WS. They did it. Kraig, Paul and ross all swam high 24's and Shawn swam a 26.0. The smiles on their faces were huge. Now for the race of the meet. Going into the 400 Free Relay, we were in 4th behind WS by 4 points. We needed to be two places higher than them to tie for third. After yesterday we were seeded 3 with a 3:44. The 1st place team had a 3:32 and 2-3:33. i thought we might go a 3:34. I had Jeremy lead off becuase we needed a huge lead. He gave it to us. He went a 50.7. Next was Joshie and he went a 53+ and we were still ahead by quite a bit. James was next and went a 54 which was two seconds better than what he had ever gone before. The little freshman ws anchor. We were still in the lead but he was swimming against two guys that went 50.0. Oh my gosh. What a race. Remember the freshman is a 500 swimmer, not a sprinter. The final Redmond 3:31, Sprague 3:32, McNary 3:30. We won. The place erupted. The boy's made it to state and we beat WS by 5 point for third place in the meet. If that med. Relay hadn't DQ'ed, we would have been second.
AdamBurger went a 2:09 in the 200 and a 5:45 in the 500. I almost lost Katelyn Lindsey. She was so sick, but she swam 3 sec. faster than yesterday. We really had some gutty swims.
Call tonight if you want to talk. Your dad is at Wrestling. I'm glad you got to talk to him this morning. (now I'm listening to the new fall out boy) Not bad.
Love,
MOM

Thought you would love this picture.

Long day today. Let school at 6am this morning. Everyone was on time. I was excited. Everything was going well.

Warm up went well. We worked on relay starts and I kept saying safe. I bet you can guess where this is going. The first event went off without a hitch. Then the boy's med. Relay swam. Againg, I told them to be careful. It was neck and neck between us and Redmond. Came down to the freestyle leg, and Jeremy went a 22.02 and we touched out Redmond. Then it hits. The #4 man false started. Dual confermation. We were screwed. the boy's handled it well, considering the chance to go to state went up in flames. Josh couldn't go anyway.

The rest of the meet went better. Here are some of the highlights: Rochelle Moore made it inthe finals in the 200,100. She was seeded about 9th in both. Went a 2:17 in the 200 and a 00.15 in the 100. Kaylie Bahnsen and Crystal are in the consols. 200 IM, Hannah and Allison in the finals, Sierra and a 9th grader in Consols. 50 free, Amber and Tyler finals, Crystal and Whitney Conslos. 100 fly Natascha finals, Cassidy Nelson consols. 100 free amber, tyler, rochelle finals, whitney consols. 500 free frosh 5th with a 6:24, Katelyn and Alex consols. 200 free relay, 2nd, 100 back hannah finals, sierra consols, 100 breast Natascha and Allison finals, 400 free relay 3rd. On the boys side we had some great swims. Jeremy is first in the 50-22.62 and the 100 51.6, Josh swam really well in the finals for the 100 fly and back. Went a oo in the fly. James finals in the 200 IM and Consols in the 100 Breast. Kraig Massee, finals in the 50, consols in the 100 back, Frosh stud finals in the 200, 500, Paul consols in the 50 and in the 100 with a 56.5. If you would have told me that Paul would swim a 56, I would have said no way. Shawn Lapof in consols in the 100 and Ross consols in the 5o and 100. Allan is 9th in the 200 and consols in the 500. Adam is 12 in the 200, but 6th in the 500. He went a 5:46. It was a great race and he can move up. When was the last time I had two boys in the finals of the 500? NEVER. The boy's 200 and 400 relays are swimming again tomorrow. Jeff improved 2 sec in his 100 breast. He did a great job. Cody is 14 and 2nd alt. in teh 200 free. He really swam well too.

If there is any other info that you want let me know.

DOn't worry about your test score. The only thing you should worry about is how you are doing and you don't need to help the boys. Take care of yourself first. Maybe next time you will get the easier test.

What time do the boys leave tomorrow? I bet it is pretty early.

Hope you have a fun weekend without the guys. Maybe it will give you some time to bond with some of your teammates and download some more music.

Please send me your pin number so I can work with it.

How did your scholarship hunting go today?

Boring

Boring day today. Stepped first period and ran fitness tests 2nd and 3rd. this afternoon, we have two interviews for the football job. I have to drive to practice to get there in time. tonight we will have our taxes done (your too) so that we can send them in. Your sister is fixing dinner tonight, pork chops with chicken soup and mushrooms with noodles. I told her how to do it this morning. We will see if she was awake.

Kristin told me that she got on the the ISU web page and looked you up on the golf page. She also showed one of her friends the picture of Dylan.

the bus leaves tomorrow morning at 6am. How many people do you think will be late? Not any, I hope. Yesterday, I only had one absent and it was a freshman boy who swims the 500 in 7:03. Can you believe that is the 12 seed? What a joke.

Your sister is excited about the meet on Saturday because I am taking the team to Mongolian Grill. That made her day. She was dancing around the office a little while ago. That girl loves her Mongolian Grill.

Hope your tests went or are going well.

Talk to you soon and stay out of trouble.

ROAD TRIP

I am soooo ready for a road trip. Oh, I guess that is in about a month. Ill get a base in Arizona then build in Palm Springs. Sorry that you will probably be in Eugene then.

Congrats on your math quiz. If you study, you will do fine on your test. Good luck tonight too.

McNary HS Golf:
Breakfast this morning was very early. Your dad and I were there on time. SAY Golf gave us the usual info. Then we had to go around the table and tell about our team. I told them a story about handing out PE locks to the freshmen and overhears two girls talk. They really never played before, but they really liked what golfers wore and that is why they were going out for golf. I think I will have my hands full this year. While at the meeting, Thomas and Jason (the South coaches) asked how you were doing. They were very excited for you. The board even mentioned your name as a scholarship winner and now playing collegate golf. You will never guess who is coaching at Blanchet, Missy, who helped me that one year who played for BSU. I thought you would get a kick out of that.

McNary HS Swimming:
Natascha is on the mend. That is big for the medley relay. She is at school today and is feeling better. I just hope that nobody else get sick. (Ward is really sick. He hasn't been here for three days). the taper is going well. Yesterday after the warm-up they all lined up and gave each other back rubs. This is really a strange group. Paul came up yesterday and told me that his throat was a little scratchy and nose was running, but he went out with the 1/4 mile club to do their daily lap around the track at North. I told you it was a strange group.

SCHOOL STUFF:
I had to send home three letters in the last two days for non-dresses. We have only dressed down three times. what does this tell you about the freshman group?

Weather:
If your weather is not nice during that three day weekend, you guys should really consicer going someplace warm to play golf for a couple of days. I don't know if Dave has anything planned for you, but it might not be a bad idea. We have state that weekend. Speaking of weather, starting today, we are sukppose to have a week of rain. The weather was nice while it lasted.

Other Stuff:
Need to go to Costco tonight to get shavers and a sports bra for a girl who cannot afford one.

Taco's tonight.

Interviews and taxes tomorrow night.

Hope the golf went well today. I hope you had fun. Talk to you soon. I hope you received those packages today. If you din't, I'm a little worried.

I'm not very creative

It's getting harder to be creative on the title. I will try harder tomorrow.

Not very eventful today. Had to come in early for a make up staff meeting that lasted for about 15 min. which should have lasted 5 min. Step class went well, 2nd per is a bunch of slugs, and 3rd period was good, very active freshman.

I had to talk to the Keizer Times guy at lunch. Now I'm going to the bank and catch up on school work. My grades are not up to date.

Natascha is very sick and has not been at school for two days. Hopefully she will be ready for Friday. this happened her soph. year too. Hopefully, she will recover quickly.

Tomorrow morning your dad and I need to be at Creekside at 6am. then, I need to go and pick up Kristin and get to school. Very long day tomorrow.

We are doing your taxes on thursday night and will send you the stuff to sign and mail in.

Talk to you later. Hopeo you get those packages today. Can't wait to see you in Capri's.

busy day today. Finally met with my 6th period aerobics class. They were happy. I had 11 kids dress down 7th in my personal fitness class. That is tough to find games to play, but I'm quick on my feet.

Made a couple of plane reservations for a few people that I know for arizona.

It's nice that Dylan came to check on you. that way I know that if something were to happen he would contact us. Why don't you give him our cell phone numbers and home number just in case.

Have fun playing golf tomorrow. We are suppose to start raining tomorrow thru the rest of the week. The weather was nice while it lasted.

Your sister is fixing dinner tonight, hamberger helper. I have my methods class tonigh that I am not prepared for ( becuase I was picking up contacts and making reservations), so that's what I'm going to do now.

Sunday, Sunday

Your dad and dogs last night at about 10:30 pm. They hit the sack hard. AS you can tell, there was not alot of room for me, but I did slip in.

Fitz, Maddi and your dad getting excited about the super bowl. WOW.

Today was pretty uneventful. Just had the seeding meeting. This morning I did four loads of laundry, went to the store and got puppy treats.

Rode to the meeting in Corvallis with Mrs Tiffin. Then came home and watched the super bowl and had brauts, potato salad and beans for dinner. AS you can tell by the picture Fitz was here. Maddi and Lexi really like Fitz, especially when he eats.

SWIMMING:

The swim meeting went well. The district is very slow as I told you on the phone. Some examples: Kaylie Bahnsen 6th in the 200 free with a 2:17. Adam Burger and Allan are 11, 12 in the 200 Free with 2:14 and 2:18. They could both easily move up. James is 4th in the 200 IM. Last year he would have benn about 14th. All 4 boys are in the top 12 in the 50, including Paul and Kraig. Kraig will move up because he will swim alot faster. He might even go a 24. Paul is also 12 in the 100 with a 1:01. I already told you about the girls 500. WE are 5-7 with 6:31-6:35. What a joke. I will think of you while some of those girls are on the podium. In the boys 500 I have a swimmer that is 12th with a 7:03. If there is anyone else you want to know about let me know.

Your dad doesn't have anything to say.

I e-mailed Dave and told him about the shirts and if he needs to order more to let us know. He knows that you will be talking to him about it.

Too bad you only have 1 class tomorrow. What will you do with yourself?

HOpe you had a good day today and you had fun.

Talk to you soon.

Late Night

This is pretty late but it will give you something to read in the morning. Hope you got home safe and sound.

Congrats on making the Arizona trip. The pressure is off. Your dad and I are trying to decide which two days we are going to watch you play. That Monday is the first day that spring sports here can compete and it is a difficult day to miss. We will either fly in on Sunday and watch Monday and Tuesday and leave Tuesday night or Fly in late monday and watch Tues and wed and fly out late wed night. I have to use a family illness day or two. I think Nanny will be needing some help. We will make our decision in teh next couple of days.

Like I told you on the phone, you sister swam well today. She was happy especially since she got period yesterday. Most of the kids had at least one best time. There were alot of older kids there cheering them on and helping with the meet. Allan put all of teh names and results in teh computer and Adam helped him. Cassidy Nelson sang the National Anthem and did a super job. The meet went well and we were done by 11:30. Next year we are going to invite some outside teams. Hopefully, we can have teh meet at Willamette again.

Had out hair cuts and went to Costco. Your dad was being a maniac. He had his ipod going while he was loading the car and I just told people that I didn't know him.

Lara and Riley Tiffin came over tonight for dinner. THey haven't had heat in their house since Tuesday night, so we thought it might be nice for them to have a warm meal in a warm house. They did get heat tonight, but their house was cold when they left there. We watched Pirates 2 tonight.

Tomorrow is the seeding meeting at 2pm. When I get home I'll let you know how people are seeded. Is ther anyone in particular you want to know about?

Your dad is playing golf tomorrow morning with Fitz, then Fitz is coming here for the game. We are having brauts for food as well as cheese sticks for snacks.

Please let me know when you receive the packages. You are suppose to get them on Monday. Remember that there are two coming and if any of the shirts don't fit and you need some different sizes to let us know.

Have a great Sunday and talk to you soon.

YAHOO

It is Friday. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

LEXI
Lexi seems to be fine.

LAST NIGHT
I didn't get home until 10:15 last night. We went thru 4 interviews then hashed over it forever.

MAIL
Your dad sent the packages yesterday and you are suppose to get them on Monday.

THIS AFTERNOON
I have to set up the JV distirct entries this afternoon. Your sister is going to swim the 200 and the 1oo. she will be on some relays also. Yesterday, trevor Husseman told me that he couldn't go to district. I was not a happy camper yesterday anyway, so I got a little ticked. I asked his why and he said that he couldn't remember. Later that night I got an e-mail from his saying that he was going to FBLA district. He lied to me. He is not swimming at JV District.

WEATHER
I loooked at the Buhl weather for tomorrow and it is suppose to be 41. Hope you have enough handwarmers. It was good that you played under those conditions last weekend. some people will be shocked. You and Dylan drive carefully.

DINNER PLANS
Family dinner again tonight, huh? What are you going to fix? You are spoiling those boys. Kristin and I are doing our usual Quizno's run after practice.

TOMORROW
tomorrow after the meet, your dad and I are getting our hair cut then going to Costco. I'm excited about that.

ROOMMATE ISSUES
Maybe this will be the week that your roommate doesn't come back. How many classes did she actually pass last semester.

Have a nice weekend and hope to hear from you soon.

the day from .....

What a day. first, last night, Kristin ran out of contact solution so I had to go out and get it. this morning, Lexi got into your sister's swim bag and was working on a pair on undies with a pad in it. I don't know how much she got. I don't think she got too much, but I called the vet. they said that as long as she eats and holds it down and she poops. they said that it never bothers alot of dogs. Your dad will go home and check on her this afternoon.

I missed the first day of my aerobics class for the first interview for the football job. It was not a good day to miss. I guess they ended up playing duck, duck, goose for the last 20 min.

At 12:45, i have another interview. At 2:25, we leave for practice and at 5 and 7 I have two more interviews. Luckly your sister is going to a feed for the JV district kids after practice, so she will have something to eat.

Your dad is at McNary tonight for a wrestling match.

Hopefully, everything tomorrow will settle down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope you had a good, not too eventful.

Talk to you soon.
