First Day of Vacation

Your dad and the dogs on the first afternoon of vacation.

We had our haircut this morning and made an appt. for you. After that, we went to the eye dr. to fix your dad's glasses then to Home Depot to pick something up for papap. When we got home, Wayne was there with his "girlfriend" He stayed for 45 min.

After lunch, I went to school to finish up with the cookie sale and work on the clothes order for swim team.

Now, I am doing this and getting ready to start dinner. WE are having frozen lasagna. Your sister has an ortho appt. at 3:50. When we get home, she will eat then she needs to be a North by 6:15 to work at a Dance Recital selling roses. It is a fund raiser for her swimming stuff. I will be at practice from 5:30-7pm. Want to guess how many will be there? I say about 20. We will see.

Good luck tomorrow on your last two finals.

I found a good price for golf at the course you are going to play this spring. I'm ready to leave.

PADDINGTONS

That's what we had for dinner tonight.

Saturday

We have a had a couple of nice days. I got lots of great gifts that I will have to show you when you come home. I worked out at the Courthouse. When my membership card was swiped, the computer played happy birthday. Went shopping and braved the terrible traffic. We went to Roadhouse and it was good. Then for dessert, we went to the Kondititori and we each took home a different piece of cake. We ate the cake in front of my new movie.

Sunday

Went and played golf with Bill Sanford and Fitz. We didn't keep score but I know I shot under 100. Your dad ended up 3-4 over on the back side. We came home, then went to the store. WE have dinner planned for the week. Then, I sat in the bathtub and read while your dad took a nap. We went to Kristin's soccer game. They lost again. She has no help back there. She gets pelted. I know why no one else wants to play goalie. Now, I'm sitting here writing this, your dad just tripped over a kitchen stool, and your sister is in our bedroom watching TV.

Other

Only two more days of school. Uncle Bubba has to go through the whole week. They don't have to go back until that next Monday after we have already been in school.

We are suppose to rain here until the cows come home. The next dry day is suppose to be Christmas. It is suppose to get windy too. Glad we will be gone.

Tell Dylan that he looks good in his jacket. WE are glad that he likes it.

Good luck this week.

Sorry that I didn't blog yesterday, but we went to Redmond. The meet went well. The boys lost by 13 and I didn't have two of my good boys. Jeremy Mitchell swam really well as well as alot of other guys. I think we can give Redmond a run for their money at District. Some of my freshmen boys will score some good consol points. It is nice to have some depth. On the girls side, we took care of them. People swam well, especially Crystal Ignatowski.

REDMOND

The trip went really well. The pass was clear both ways. On the way over one movie was watched. On the way back, we stopped at a mall across from the school and I told thaem they could go to one of four places, but couldn't hop from place to place. 47 kids got food and back on the bus in 35 min. On the way bad we watched Hot Rod. Then the bus driver let us listen to ipods over the speakers. And what was really nice was that the bus was very clean when we got off. WE got back to school at ;9:30 and we got home at about 10:15

SWIM TEAM

Today for swim team, we were in the weight room. We had 506 kids at each of 11 squat racks and ran circuits at each one. It went really well and it was fun. We were out of there by 3:15. For the last 15 min. I talked to the 10-12 grade girls about protein, calcium and moods. I gave them a little book that has real good info in it.

TONIGHT

After practice, Kristin and I went to Target. I volunteered my 6th period classs to adopt a family for Christmas. Of course not much was brought in, so we bought 3 $10 gift cards, then went to Roth's and bought them a trukey breast and some other food. One girl did bring in some food, donated money and someone else brought to Hot Wheel cars for the 2 year old.

Now, I am writing this. The dogs just ate and Kristin and I are gettting ready to eat. WE are having chicken and some Lean Cuisines. Your dad is at wrestling, but it shouldn't be too late because South only has 25 guys.

WE don't have any big plans for the weekend, just waiting for vacation.

Have a nice evening and stay warm. Good luck on your speech tomorrow.

Thought I would do this now. I need to do some other things on the computer tonight, like swimming stuff.

right now I'm just waiting for practice. We have to take milk cartons because there isn't a bus for us. I get to take the sub today. At practiceI'm handing out the order form for everything. I actually did it on excel so it looks pretty nice. I think I gave them too many choices, but oh well. Everyone is supppose to be there today so it could be crowded. My best boy's swimmers mom just called and he is not feeling well so he is not going to the meet. I don't think he is really sick, but oh well. That's the way is goes.

Our weather is cold and it might rain a little bit, but we should still make it over the mountain.

Hope your day is going well.

Howday. We had a pretty uneventful day. Your dad put up the lights. He had to go and buy some new ones. Those blink. After that, he cut the ivy on the fence going down the driveway.

Kristin helped your dad some. She also went out and sold some cookie dough and also sat in front of the TV alot.

This afternoon, your dad and I watched Maniqun, took a nap, then watched Animal House. We then called you about that huge kicker check you got. I will let you deposit it yourself. You have two years to do that.

Your dad and I went to the casino and had a nice dinner. I won $106 playing blackjack, then your dad and I hit a $.50 Wheel of Fortune machine. We won $180 out of that. We ended up winning enough to cover dinner, gas and groceries for tomorrow. We also had enough to pay Kristin the rest of her November allowance. We are all paid up. It will help for the next couple of weeks so we can pay for In and Out Burger in Redding.

We are suppose to get really cold (for us) tonight. We probably won't get to play golf because of a frost delay. When we were coming home from the casino, fog was forming and it was freezing. It is starting to do that here too.

Have a nice day tomorrow. Sounds like you have a pretty easy week.

NEWS

SWIMMING

Starting with Tuesday. The swim meet was a blowout. The boys won 122-42 and the girls won 124-29. WE had some good swims. It was actually pretty boring. I didn't get to watch alot of it because I was helping the newbies.

Yesterday, we had a good practice and today we had dryland at school. WE did scooters and they loved it. AT the end we did a huge team cheer so that the other practicing teams could hear us. It was great.

Tomorrow, I have to post the Redmond team. I hate keeping kids at home, but it must be done.

WEDENSDAY

Kristin had a socer game last night. They lost 11-2. They were really good. Kristin was getting pelted. She let a couple go by that she should have had, but she had some really good saves too. They had one girls that could kick the heck out of the ball. I guess, these girls play year round competitive.

TODAY

Regular day at school. The pictures that Dave picked out are good. I'm going to print up a couple. Got alot done with swimming stuff, but still have more to do. It takes alot of time to do the set up of the swimming program the first time.

Sorry that ISU didn't win last night. I hope you guys had fun.

It's alomost closed week for you. Are you ready for your finals? How about Arizona? The packages have been received there, so there will be Christmas. Personally, I'm waiting for a little warmer weather. How about you?

Have you been following the news about the Washington floods? Where we ate dinner on the way to Sequim is still under water and they might not have I-5 open until after the weekend. They did open the Amtrak today. There are some really scary pictures form the flood out there.

Hope you are having a nice day.

Talk to you soon. ABout time to fix dinner (chicken broiled with ham and cheese in the middle, topped with alfredo sause with mushrooms in it). Thought I would try something new since I got home early today.

Monday, December 3, 2007

It finally quit raining tonight. I actually saw some stars. WE still have wind for a few more hours. WE are starting to float back to Salem. The railroad tracks were closed in Washington due to flooding. The coast had no electricity and some places won't get it back for three to five days.

Pretty quiet today at school. One day closer to vacation.

Swim meet tomorrow. Your sister volunteered to swim the 500. No one from McKay is going to swim it, so I have six girls in it. She is also swimming the 200 and the 400 free relay. Right now, she and about 20 other team mates are at the Olive Garden. I hope she is having fun.

Right now, your dad is on the couch in the prone position with his hood up. Maddie in in her spot behind his legs and Lexi is working on her feet on the floor.

NOw, I'm going to have some hot chocolate and cookies.

Still windy outside, should back down tonight.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Floating Away

This is what we looked at all day today. It never stopped raining and it got really windy. We had a gust of 44 mph. At Newport, they had a gust of 83mph. It is suppose to get worse after midnight. Some schools on the coast have already cancelled school for tomorrow. The puppies, especially Maddie don't like to go outside to take a dump. This afternoon, it took Maddie three times out before she finally took a dump.

I got your elf e-mail open here and showed your dad. He thought it was pretty funny, but not as funny as I thought it was. We did send it to nanny and papap. Did you have any comments from your elf e-mails?

We went Christmas shopping this morning and were downtown for 10am. No one was there and it was great. WE were home by 11:30 (after grocery shopping) and watched the game, Seattle of course). There were a couple of good games in the afternoon too.

I just took the ham out of the oven. We are having the rest of the potatoes from last night, baked beans and cornbread muffins.

We are watching the night game(right now your dad is asleep) while we are eating.

Glad you had an uneventful day. Those days are sometimes better than to much going on.

I showed dad the pictures that were on your blog with the Christmas lights. He said that the tree is really bright.

WEll, it's time to wake up your dad to eat. Talk to you soon. Not to rub it in, but we only have two weeks and two days left of school until vacation.

Sad Day

1. Oregon lost in overtime. They had to use their 4th string QB for most of the game. He really did do OK, but he is not Dennis Dixon.

2. Had a bit of snow this morning as you know, but now it is raining and windy. 22mph to be exact. Your dad put up the awnings and came in very wet. Your dad just said, "no golfing tomorrow". Again, a sad day around here.

3. Lexi and Maddie are gone. Now we have June and Julie. I hope they don't freeze outside. I don't think so. They each got a Christmas present form the dog groomer. The toys have squeekers in them but are not as bad as ED.

4. Had chicken for dinner. Tomorrow we are going to have a Ham from Costco. Your did will have some type of potatoes and I think I will make corn bread for a chnge. That always goes good with ham.

5. Papap called and said that they got 3 5/8 inches of rain over the last couple of days. He said that it was not a bad rain. I told him that if is rains while we are down there, we will be leaving town to find sunshine.

6. Your dad just belched while watching National Treasure on the SCIFI channel. It has commercials and he again is not a happy camper.

Nice talking to you today. Hope you have a nice evening. Stay out of trouble.

It's Friday

Finally the weekend. Only two weeks and two days to go until vacation. I really liked what you did with your room. I bet it's more festive than last year.

It has been cold all day. I don't think it got over 39. I know that's a heat wave for you, but cold for me since I'm just wearing shorts.

Cleary was obnoxious today with all of her beaver stuff. She kept coming in and changing for her classes. They thought she was nuts.

It was cookie and music Friday at practice today. There were 72 bodies in the water tonight. Glad I bought 6 doz. cookies. I couldn't believe how many people showed up for a Friday practice. The swim team girls even have a spot on my space. Sierra and Brianna started it. They even have pictures of the boys from your year. They have actually done a pretty good job with it. Your sister's picture is even on it.

Tonight after practice, I dropped your sister off and went back to the pool to see if the timing system worked. It worked the first time we tried it. Do you think it will work on Tuesday during the meet? Keep your fingers crossed.

Tomorrw morning Kristin and I are going to go shopping.

Your dad is up in Portland watching a football game. It started at 8pm at PGE Park. It will be a late night for him.

Our weather is supose to be real strange the next couple of days. Little snow tomorrow, maybe, then is starts to warm up and we get a couple of rain and wind storms. No golf for us this Sunday.

Have a nice weekend and I hope you enjoyed your movie. Let me know how it was.

Love,

Just a reminder of the good food you had over the weekend.

raining today. It is cold but not cold enough to snow yet. They say maybe late tomorrow night.

School was the same, not much happened. Only two more days this week.

Practice was ok today. we picked t-shirt and sweatshirt designs. They need a little work but will be fine.

Puppies are getting beautified on Saturday. Your sister and I are going shopping Satuday morning before they get worked on.

Tuesday is our first meet against McKay. I have no idea who is going to swim what yet. I'm dreading the night I have to sit down and figure it out.

You sounded good today. Hope you are happy but still want to come home for Christmas. WE are all really looking forward to some sunshine.

Have a good day tomorrow.

not a very good picture, but your dad has his horns on.

Your sister is giving your dad a bad time about no lights on the house yet. She expresses her displeasure by announcing how many houses on the block do have lights.

Uneventful today. Just another Monday. WE are watching a soggy football game. WE are raining right now and are suppose to do so for the next three days.

Tomorrow, your sister and I are on our own.

Hope you had a good day today.

Sorry you didn't get a picture of yours, but your dad packed it as soon as we got home. I hope this one will do.
I know that your tree doesn't look like this, but at least you have one. You need a picture of this since you won't see this really alot until after come home from Dylan's.

The globe will go to UPS tomorrow during my prep. I will let you know when to expect it.
Nap
Pretty uneventful around here today. Went to fill up the sub, return the movie, and go to the store. Both your dad and I (with puppies) took a nap.
Football
Now, we are having taco's for dinner and watching football. Seattle ended up winning at the very end. It was an ugly but good win. Now we are watching philly and New England. I hope Philly wins. Their qb is an Oregon boy.

A Very busy Day.

B days are not my favorite days, but I got through. It was busy, with the computers going down for a little while. The things I did:
1. Talked to the guy about our team suits

2. Made an appointment for your dad and I to go to the Nike Employee store (we are in)

3. Sent letters home about my parent meeting next Tuesday evening.

4. Went to a stupid meeting with a parent who thinks her boy should be on a 504, but he is really more interested in the gang life.

5. Wrote a great practice plan. They were dying.

Got home at around 6pm and your dad had chili ready. It ws really good. He added corn. He got the idea from mimi.

Right now we are watching tv, the news, then who knows what.

Hope you enjoyed your movie tonight and have a good swim tomorrow. Call when you are getting ready to leave the airport on Friday. We should be there before you land. (keep your fingers crossed).

I will try and send the picture tomorrow. It is not working, sorry. WE had a good day shopping at Washington Square. WE got some things for Nanny, papap, mimi and popi. Not much for Katie,(but we did later in the day). WE came home and wrapped some of the packages to get ready to send off and take to Sequim.

Practice was at 5:30 and I had about 26 kids. Not alot, but it is only the second week of practice.

Hope you had a great day and swim hard tomorrow. Good luck on your math test.

Howdy.

Pretty uneventful today. WEnt and played golf this morning. WE had rain last night, but the course is still in pretty good shape. The greens are QUICK!!! I had alot of one putts and alot of three putts. Your dad hit his driver well. Fitz is looking forward to playing with you next week. Unless it is really wet, we will play.

When we got home, I fed your dad, then took Kristin to the driving range. She is getting better. I would love to see Kristin give Ashley a run for her money.

Indoor soccer was a hoot. When your sister first stepped into the goal her eyes were wide open. The balls seem to come a little quicker and a little harder. They did win the game 5-3 and she did a good job. She looks like a goober in goal. You will get to see her next Sunday at 5:10. Put is on your calendar.

Right now we are watching football on TV and getting ready to have some Duck Track ice cream. Yummy!!!!

Tell Dylan, only one more week then he will be in the land of sunshine. Tell him to take plaenty of sunscreen. You don't want him to beat you in the tan division.

Have a good workout and stay out of trouble. Good luck on your speech and on your Econ test.

Talk to you soon.

Let's see, we stopped at one store and got Katie lksdjflei.. Then we went to another store and got Katie slie57lkejr. WE went to even another store and got Katie sldkru. Did you really think I would tell you what we got you for Christmas? After Lincoln City we went to Newport and got some more things for the cats. We drove home thru Corvallis and got home at around 3pm

Right now your dad is on the couch and is going to take a little nap. I am doing this and Kristin is in our room watching TV. I don't know what we are doing for dinner. I will wait until your dad wakes up to decide. Maybe some pizza.

News:

Phil Gestner is getting married next week. I think that seems just a little young, but it must have something to do with the religion.

Swim team is up to about 80 swimmers. I have two boys I need to talk to about improving on their breathing. WE had music Friday yesterday and this year the girls are starting fishnet Fridays. They wear the prettiest fish net stalkings. It is a good group and should be alot of fun. We are known as the "happiest" swim team that swims at Olinger.

Future Plans for the Phillips Family: Sunday, golf, Monday, shopping at Washington Square. See, we can have fun in little old Salem too.

Hope you have a nice weekend. Have a good day Monday in class. We get it off.

Swimming:

consistantly 59 in the pool. I think there are about 65 on the list. 28 of them are boys, at least 10 freshmen. Jason and I figure they will be good by the time they are juniors. Right now we are taking four milk cartons to practice.

School:

I can't believe it. Every girls was in my 5th period class today(two have dropped). Wow. What a beginning to a good (decent) day. 6th period I surprised the Aerobics class with scooter soccer the second half of class. Their legs were sore but they had a ball. 7th period was about the same. Freshman never change.

News:

Saw Kirk Massee today. He is leaving for New York tomorrow. He looks good. Thinned out a little bit. He is not diving any more, but doing stuff with computers. When he came back he had to recruit. He recruited one person: Tayler Reiff. He leaves Nov. 20th. I guess he was bored making lots of money and wanted to do something different.

Your dad has conferences today and tomorrow. Right now, he is at the fairgrounds attending a TAG meeting. He was not real excited.

Kristin:

She is so much like you. All the way home, she complained about differnet people on the team doing different things. WE stopped at the indoor soccer center to pay for her playing. You should be home to one of her games. They play on Sundays at around 4 or 5. She is the team goalie.

Hope you had a ggod day. I'm sure you are very tired. Don't be a stranger just because you are coming home in a week.

Not much has been going on. In the classroom with the freshmen today and tomorrow. that takes alot of time and it goes fast.

Interesting trying to get to practice. Three milk cartons and the sub. I hope it is better today. tomorow, we are getting a bus: finally.

Have a nice trip home. I enjoyed the pictures. It looks like you are having fun.

See you in a week.

Game Day: right now your dad is at McNary watching the WS -McNary game. It is suppose to get butt cold tonight. He has his ISU beanie. He is good to go.

Not much went on today. WE had a pep assembly this morning. After school I waited for two girls to come in and do make-up. Guess what? They didn't show up.

Went to a couple of banks then went and picked up Kristin at the driving range. The girls met there to ht balls. Amber Stahlberg, Kate, Kacie Linton and Kayla Pierce showed up. Kayla, who is a lefty, was hitting right handed and was hitting it great.

Met your dad at Shari's in Keizer for dinner. He went to the game and we went shpooing for a b-day gift. Your sister has a party to go to tomorrow. She is looking forward to it.

Hope you had fun at the game tonight. Have a good trip tomorrow. Tell Hannah not to forget the sun screen. I have seen her before when she gets burned to a crisp.

Does Dylan still have an arm? Was the movie really scary? I hope you actually watched some of it.

Day is over. Only one more day until the weekend.

Pretty quiet today. Not much going on. Only 13 girls in weight training so they played badminton for 15 min. They really liked that. All of my step girls were there, then in 7th period the two butt heads were gone. Even the other PE teacher mentioned how well behaved they were today.

Kristin's lesson was ok. Jim really doesn't know why she is hitting the ball the way she is right now. He wants to see her again soon. As far as you go, he wants to see you that Saturday you get back. I will make your hair appt. for early in the morning, then call him a week ahead so that something can be set up. His last day up there is Nov 28. He said that he would contine to work with you and would find a place.

Kristin's awards night was a joke. The JV team was there at 7 and everyone else was showing up at 7:30. So they did the JV's and we left. Your dad got there when we were leaving. He was not a happy camper.

Right now we are back home and he is eating dinner. Kristin and I went to the new Panda Express at the Keizer Station. It was good.

Have a great day tomorrow.

HI!

Nothing much happened here either. Lexi and Maddie are waiting for the tricker or treaters to come so that they can scare them off. I don't know how many we will get.

Cleary wasn't at school today. She was not feeling well. What a wimp. HAd three different subs for her today and I was not one of them. I had to get ready for my swim meeting after school

Swimming:

Have 37 on my list already and will probably have at least 60 by Monday. All of the usual suspects were there. The club kids are coming on the first day. They want to be included (and they don't have practice that day). Everyone is so excited that it is catching. We are going to start out with alot more stroke drill at first.

Dinner:

Your dad and Kristin had hamberger helper and I broiled chicken. Right now, your dad is grazing on chedder Dorito's and red wine. I'm thinking of getting him out and getting a free Pumpkin latte at Dutch Bro's.

Tomorrow, Kristin has a golf lesson, then we have the concession stand and she has her awards night at 7pm.

Golf:

The girls golf team is meeting at the driving range Friday at 3pm to hit some balls and bond. I think it is a good idea. I have range balls left over from last season. Maybe this will get them excited for the spring and get them thinking about going to the driving range over the witner. It will be interesting to see how many actually go.

Nice job on coming back at practice today. when was the last time you had two birdies in a row. I guess it doesn't take you too long to figure it out.

Hope you stayed somewhat warm tonight. I bet you had some fun. Did some of the kids have good costumes?

Nanny:

Nanny is ready for us to come for Christmas. She was suppose to go home tonight. Your dad talked to her today and her spirits were really up.

Love you.

PS your dad is excited to have you come home. I made your train reservations tonight.

not much went on today.

Cleary is sick and got worse during the day.

Had a distirict swim meeting today with all of the coaches.

When I got home your dad was fixing potato soup. Ate and went back to school for my methods class. WE worked on lesson plans for 1 1/2 hours. Got home about 15 min ago and am waiting for two and a half men at 8:30.

Nanny had her surgery today and is doing ok. She will be in the hospital for a couple of days.

I'm eating popcorn and have four eyes looking at me.

As you can tell, not much is going on. Maybe tomorrow might be more eventful.

Oh yeah, Kristin might be playing indoor. They need a goalie and want her to play is id doesn't interfere with swimming. It might be good for her.

Love you. Less than a week and you will be hitting the ball straight in the sun.

Mimi and Poppi say hi!
We had a nice weekend. It was actually good weather in Sequim. WE played golf yesterday and I catually played better there than at McNary. By hole 15 I had shorts on. I wore shorter white socks so that I didn't look so bad. On17, I was 12 inches away from making a hole-in-one. Better than hitting a car.
WE watched the Ducks win against USC. Yeah!
Mimi fixed some new chili with corn in it in the crock pot. It was good. We had some nwe kind of ice cream too.
This morning, we went to The Mariner Cafe and had breakfast. That was good too. Had a nice ride home. It takes too long to get home.
We have gone to the store and are going to have ham sandwiches and bean with bacon soup tonight.
Hope you had a good weekend.

this is just a quickie. Just got done with conferences. did get to see your sister's last game against West. They lost 7-1 at least. I didn't watch the last few minutes. Kristin was not in goal, she played center mid. had some good kicks, but the socre wouldn't have been so bad if she would have been back there. It's pretty bad when parents are asking me why she wasn't playing goalie. I'm not the coach. Watching the game was like watching paint dry.

I'm going home now to have something to eat. have a good day in class tomorrow and have a nice weekend.

Thursday: according to Kristin, this is "Thursday" for school, since she doesn't have school Thursday or Friday. Lucky her. AT least I don't have school on Friday.

It's your dad's getting the bug. He was suppose to go to an orchestr concert so I fed him early. WHen he was done eating, he decided not to go. It is now 5:46 and he is asleep. After Kristin gets done with her team dinner, I will come home and take a warm bath.

Sorry to hear about Dylan and his bad day. Did he find his range finder?

Kristin just called and south was beating out boys 4-1. That's too bad. I bet the game was pretty dirty. Even the girls JV game was dirty yesterday. The varsity game was postponed until tomorrow. Did I tell you that South had a couple of varsity players on their JV yesterday? A couple of those girls looked pretty big.

Kristin will send you a picture of her new Soccer sweatshirt. It's pretty neat.

Hope everything is going ok.

Tough Day

Tough day today. It started this morning when Kristin and I had to take back the chain saw and didn't get to school un 7:30 (thinks to a train). Once I'm behind, I can never get caught up.

It doesn't help that I have a cold.

5 girls didn't dress down in my weight training class today. MOst of them are either failing or are going down fast.

Nobody was sure where Kristin's game was today. I get a call from her that it was at CVC, then when she got there, I received another call saying they were at Gilmore field. I had to keep calling your dad to keep him updated. First the game was suppose to start at 4, then 3:30, then 4 again. When we got to the field, w3e found out that the game started at 4:30. At least your dad had bought us coffee and we had a chance to talk.

Kristin started at goalie and let two get by. They were good goals. SS pulled down a couple of varsity players and you could tell. In the second half your sister played some mid-field the last part of the game. She had a corner, the team passed it back out, she kicked it again the goalies just barely got her gloves on it, but kelsely Richmond was there and put it in. Your sister had an assist. Yea Kristin!!!!!

Hope you are having a nice evening. You are probably watching one of your favorite shows.

Have a nice evening.

MOM

Freddie Krueger at his best.
The day after. We still have alot to get rid of.

DUCKS WON

McNary 32-North 12
West 24-McKay 0

West clinched the #1 seed and we need to win at least one more to get into the playoffs.

Not much happened today. At 8am we decided to play golf at our 9am tee time. When we got there, Fitz was there . We hadn't seen him in awhole. It was nice playing with him. Your Dad shot a 39 on the back. It took him awhole to get warmed up after working in the rain all day yesterday.

Cam home and started the ham.

Fed the puppies at 4:54 today. Held them off pretty good.

The Seahawks won today and we are going to switch back and forth between baseball and football tonight.

We are going to Sequim this weekend. Kristin and I don't have school on Friday, so as soon as your dad can get out school, we will leave. We are going to play golf on Saturday.

Good luck on your speech tomorrow.

A couple more pictures. Tomorrow, your dad is renting a chain saw and cutting the thing up. WE are going to give the neighbors the wood.

Another uneventful day, except we had some pretty good thunder stroms.

WE had a pep assembly today and the gym really looked good. So many people wore blue and white. WE play North tonight and WEst plays McKay. Both could be decent games.

It was raining so hard that Kristin practiced in the auditorium. There was no other spolt for them, the wimps.

Kristin is taking the PSAT tomorrow morning, your dad is cutting, and I'm doing laundry. At 4:30, the Ducks play Washingotn and it is on FSN. If it is noce (not raining) on Sunday, we are going to play golf and for dinner have ham from Gehley's hog. That hog is almost gone.

Hope you had a good workout this morning and you are having a nice evening.

I will have to send more tomorrow. I was having problems downloading tonight.
Boring today.
Wrote a referral because one of my gang bangers wouldn't keep his hood off. He thought I was picking on him. Tough S----.
Your sister's game was about as exciting as watching grass grow. They played McKay in the wind and won 7-0. At least your sister got to play in the field. The McNary goalie only touched the ball twice.
What's the deal? You too busy to drop a little blog our way?
Well, as you know, we lost a tree today. I came home and thought it looked aweful bare around the tree that we had problems with last summer. Then I walked into the back yard whre your dad was and guess what? WE lost a tree. What fun that was. We cut alot of it to get it off the rose bushes but we have alot of tree in the back yard. I think we are going to cut down the other one too. If that one falls, it will go the other way.
Good luck on your test tomorrow.
Love,
US
PS we love you.

Another day, another dollar. Same ol', same ol'. Not much happened today. Wed. is over, Thurs. is to come.

Classes were good. Started to work on swim team buses.

Your sister had practice at 2:45 in the pouring rain (on and off). They scrimmaged the JV boys and lost 4-2. At least the girls scored.

Varsity girls finally won their 2nd game against North 4-0. Lauren Brouse scored all four goals.

Your dad came home early. He was going to watch cross country, but the meet was over when he got there. They moved up the start time becuase of the weather.

Called Jim White and he said that he would still work with you.

Someone came into my office the other day, a kid and she said that someones girlfiredn from Oregon is at ISU and knows of you.

Pork Chops with mushrooms and noodles for dinner tonight. It's an easy one.

Hope you got your package.

Stay warm. If you run out of hand warmers, let us know.

LOVE you and get some sleep.

Getting ready for Phoenix and Palm Springs.

How did if feel to play in Oregon weather? WE are suppose to have rain until maybe Sunday. Next week should be nice. It is suppose to get really bad for the next few days. Snow at about 3500 feet tomorrow, I think. Big system on Thursday. Just in time for your sister's soccer game. Might have to watch in the car again. Gusts of wind up to 40mph. How fun is that?

Not much happened again today. WE had a homecoming assembly today.

7th period went well. Two of the "bad" boys skipped and the third didn't dress down. It was my lucky day.

I got my golf shoes today. They are a little big, but I don't think I could wear a half size smaller. I can always stuff my insoles in them.

Your sister is at practice, then has a team dinner and I'm waiting for your dad to get home. WE are having French Onion soup.

Sorry to hear that the boys didn't play well. Dylan will like his ice cream.

I think I will make some more cookies tonight.

Hope you had a good dinner.

The puppies were happy. They got to eat 10 min. early.

Talk to you tonight.

Love you.

Howdy

That is the excitement for the day. In other words, boring day today.

Stepped first period, 2nd period 20 min. conditioning (kicked one kid out for flipping the bird) and badminton. Same for 3rd.

Went to a soccer game at a new park. Kristin was goalie for the first half. It was so cold that your dad and I sat in the car for half time. Kristin didn't play at the beginning of the second half so we stayed in the car. She went in for center mid, we got out of the car long enough to walk back to the field, your dad turned around, moved the car so we could see the whole field, and we sat in there until the end of the game. WE are such great parents.

Had my methods class tonight. It was someones b-day, so wedidn't meet too long... Handed out lesson plan templates talked for awhile then left. WE will meet for a longer period of time the next session.

Watching football , doing this and eating. Two and a half men are on tonight. Hopefully, I can stay awake for the whole show. It is pretty funny.

HOpe practice went well, hoe the boys did well and, hope you have a good swim in the morning.

Today ended up being a nice day.

This morning, your dad and I played golf, just the two of us. It went ok. iI hit the ball better than last week but didn't score much better. Your dad had a good front side but not a great back side. At least it didn't rain and it wasn't WINDY.

Came home and looked at your lesson plan. It looked good. Remember, you don't have write in complete sentences but you need to be detailed. I'm going over that tomorrow night. I hope they do as well as you do. Your teacher must be impressed with you.

You have lost your old clubs. kristinwent to the driving range and hit your clubs. She is too tall for her old clubs and hit your clubs really well. She now has a new set. She also hit your dad's old Cobra's (the same ones you hit, i think) and hit those well. She hit better than when we went to Juniper.

I'm going to try mail service to your place again. I'm sending you a card. Let me know when (AND IF) you get it.

While I'm sitting here, your dad is doing homework and your sister is fixing dinner. We are having Bobli Bread and French Bread. She is upset because she has clean up duty also.

The dogs have eaten and we are getting ready to watch the Seahawks.

Kristin has a soccer game tomorrow against North. She will probably not play goalie. Then, I have class at 6pm. Tomorrow night's blog will be late.

I forgot to tell you that football lost to Sprague on thursday, but your did's team won.

I have a question for you. Would I be out of place if I sent the girls team going to CA. a little goodie bag? If you think I would be, I won't do it. Just let me know. I would probably put in some tees and maybe a couple of little gag gifts and candy. What do you think?

Have a nice evening and stay out of trouble.

YUM, YUM

This is what I left this morning to go work out. Do you think the three of them had any ideas about working out?
Can you tell what this is? Yes, that's right. WE had Salmon again. This time it was from Ray. I did it the way your dad does except it was in the oven.

Today was definately a fall, football day. I went and workout at a little after 10, went to the bank and the store after that. I was home the rest of the day except for a walk with the three ladies. I did read a little more Harry Potter and will probably do some more tonight.

Your dad was in class all day and got home about 4:30.

Right now, we are watching OSU trying to beat Cal. Cal just scored, the Beav's are still ahead by 3 with 2:30 to go.

Tomorrow, your dad and I are playing golf at 9am, then watching football. What else is there to do on a Sunday?

HOpe you had a good day today, and have some plans for tomorrow. I think your weather is supposed to be ok for the next couple of days.

Stay out of trouble.

(Now I have to fix ice cream and cookies. I just baked some more.)

Let me know how the guys do the next couple of days.

Not much happened today.

Had inservice today. It was good. Kristin had soccer practice and her coach hurt her leg when she tried to slide tackle.

WEnt to the store and got home at about 2:30. Did some laundry and read some of Harry Potter.

Fixed dinner and ate sauerkraut and brats.

Went to Costco at about 6:30 and bought food and things for a care package for someone. THat will be sent out UPS on Monday.

Now, dad and puppies are in bed. Dad is studying and puppies are sleeping. I am out here doing this and baking cookies. Have one more batch after the one in the oven.

Melissa and Ray had to put Pebbles to sleep today. Two weeks ago she went in to have a huge lump on her side removed and has not eaten since. She was just dring alot of water and throwing up. They may have a new puppy when you come home for Thanksgiving.

Well, do you think Emily will go to San Louis Obispo? I think she would have fun. I know that everyone else will have fun.

I'm sure there will be some gossip of some sort at your team dinner tonight. You will have to fill me in.

Your dad will be glad to know that alot of homework will get done this weekend. He gets a little worried that you are having toooooooooooo much fun.

Take care and stay warm tomorrow.

Love you,

the whole family

The Day After

Maddie wanted first dibs on the bed. She got it.
Lexi is showing you her clean teeth.

No school today. Grading day. The first half of the day was spent on teaching kids how to write. I actually got something out of it. I should be able to help Kristin on her papers a little more. Grades are done.

Kristin had practice at Whitaker and had to walk there from school this morning at 9am.

She got back at 11 and I took her home, got lunch and went back to school. Your dad was there for a couple of hours talking about the math curriculum. He came and saw me twice.

Came home and watched Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Maddie started barking at 4 for dinner and I held off until 4:30 when I couldn't stand it any more.

At 5pm, I started dinner. Kristin and I are having sauteed chicken and mushrooms. Then, I'm going to watch football and probably read the last Harry Potter.

WEst Salem has a big football game against Redmond tonight. It could determine the league champ. We play Sprague. I will let you know the scores tomorrow.

HOpe you had a decent day. I hope you saw more sun then we did. It gets depressing. At least we are going to sun places for Christmas and Spring Break.

Love you.

Dutch Rules

Your dad finally got a sticker and put it on his car. Now he is part of the family.

Nice to see your face on the athletic web page. I do like that picture. I cannot even imagine 50 mph winds. No wonder your 5 iron didn't go 130 yds. Sounds like Desert Dunes in Palm Springs.

Last day of school this week. Grades are almost done, but I needed to leave some of them until tomorrow so I would have something to do. After school, I had three girls come in and do lst minute make-up.

Puppies had their teeth cleaned today. Poor Lexi had to have one pulled. The vet said it was like a human wisdom tooth. They are now both in bed with your dad.

As you know, your dad helped in the concession stand tonight. WE were really busy. Tonight, the little girls cheerleaders (from thier camp) performed at half time. Therefore, we were rather busy selling food. I'm really glad that your dad helped. He had on his WEst Salem sweatshirt though. I guess beggers can't be chooosers.

Sorry you had a normal day.

Did you get the CD yet?

This is late for me. It is time for bed. Good night.

What a two days.

Right now, Maddie is barking because who knows why? She is in the kitchen.

Kristin played a great game yesterday. She was twice as muddy as the picture on the last blog.

We had a SAY Golf meeting last night at 7pm. It lasted about 45 min.

Came home and watched Chuck and Two and A Half Men. Fell asleep after that. I stayed up a 1/2 hour later than usual. It must have been teh coffee that I had at the meeting.

This morning, I had a Step Off 1st period, and gave a test and did weight 2nd and 3rd. Those freshmen realy like the weight room.

Kristn has practice at 4:45 at Whitaeker. I'm going to drop her off then go look for Goalie Gloves. At the Indoor Center they had some for $110. I think that is a little high.

Tomorrow, they are having a special goalie training and Kristin might go so I need to get those gloves.

I'm on my own tonight. Kristin has a team dinner and your dad has some things to do.

Tomorrow night is Concession stand night and your dad is going to work with me. He will probably go out and watdh some football when it's not too busy. That might not be much because it si Sprague and there might be a good crowd.

Can you believe that the first six weeks is over? Tomorrow is the lst day of school for students because of grading on Thursday and State wide Inservice on Friday. I'm already ready for the weekend.

Hope your pizza was good and get some sleep. Where is qualifying thursday and Friday?

Take care of yourself.

THE GOALIE

She even got her knees dirty. They lost 2-1 but your sister did a great job. Kelsey Richmond scored an own goal so it could have been 1-1. If she wouldn't have touched the ball, your sister would have gotten it. Kristin came out and saved quite a few and the other goal score hit off the side post and went in. The whole team played really well. Mr. Casquereo asked if Kristin ahd played much at the position. He was really impressed.

Ate breakfast at home, went to the game, dropped Kristin off, Dutch Bro run, a new sticker and back to watch the game. Right now, Kristin is mowing the lawn, your dad is working in the yard and I'm doing this.

Later, we are going to Best Buy, Target, Boarders and Rice Time. I am doing laundry today.

Tomorrow morning we are going to play golf with the Cross' weather permitting, then I'm going to Alan McCloud's shipping off party at 3pm. I have never been to one of those before.

No Duck game today. Tonight, we will either watch a movie or football on TV.

Hope you had a nice day. Have a good trip tomorrow. I'm looking forward to hearing about the golf course you are going to play. I think you will get to work on your tan Monday and Tuesday becuase it's suppose to be in the 70's.

It's finally the weekend.

I'm here writing, eating you know what (three guesses and the first two don't count), listening to the weather and having the puppies look at me. Yes, they have already eaten.

I think our weather was nicer then yours today. It is 59 right now and golfing weather.

Nothing really happened today.

Two down, two to go. Subbing classes, that is.

Right now, Kristin is walking Sadie. She is puppy sitting until Sunday night.

Kristin's game tomorrow is at 11:30 at Whitaeker. We will drop her off at 10:30 then go to dutch Bro's for a little coffee.

Only three days of school next week. On thursday, we have grading and Friday is the state wid inservice.

Where do I begin.

Your dad was not in a bad mood yesterday. It was a silly mood.

School was as usual, again. Sat out the three boys again and had a nice CHAT with them.

After school had a make-up mile then took a group of soccer players to Corban to watch soccer. I sat in the car. It hailed. I was glad that I was in the car.

Kristin and I went to McDonalds. I wanted to go to Burger King, but it was out of the way and the puppies were starving.

Got a nice note from Dave. It was almost a whole page thanking us for the hats. He said that the boys wore them all of the time. Do they wear them alot?

I see that Nick gets to go to the next tournament. Is he excited? Do you still talk to him quite a bit?

Your dad is getting excited about going to Phoenix for Christmas. The other night he was trying to figure out where we would eat In and Out. The first place will be at Redding, then probably some place for dinner too. I think I could handle that. How about you? He thought we could hit Cabazon before we got to Phoenix since we have to go that way. Can you believe that he is thinking about shopping? I'm surprised he hasn't thought about stopping in Palm Springs to play golf. He adually figures we could hit your grandparents by 4pm that Sunday afternoon (with stoppage at the outlet mall).

Going to have Duck Tracks ice cream for dessert.

I looked at your hotel that you are staying at in Boise. It is a nice hotel.

(this is taking awhole to write because my fingers are cold and I keep making mistakes). I have the heat and fire on tonight.

Your dad is at school. He is doing chains for the second half of the Freshman game and all of the JV game. South's field is in such bad shape that they moved both games over to West.

There is snow over the passes. I saw pictures this morning. They are expecting 6-8 inches by tomorrow morning. It is suppose to be dry here now until Sunday evening.

That's all I can think of. About time for ice cream.

Love you and have a good day tomorrow. Let me know when Dylan gets the shoes and you get the CD.

Hold the Presses

Are you ready for this? The coach asked your sister to play goalie on Saturday. The other girl was not cutting it. The last time they played Redmond it ws like 7-0. NOw, your sister is nervous.

Swim practice time: we scored. I got the second time, 3:55-5:05. Perfect time for every one.

Your dad and Kristin are yelling at each other. It is pretty loud.

Again, this morning we had to be at school at 6:45 for Kristin.

Took the freshmen to the weight room for the first time and they really did well. Didn't have to sit anyone down. Tomorrow will probably be a different story.

Your did is on a real toot today. He is driving me up the wall.

Maybe some day your mother will get out of your life and quit calling you. Sorry about that.

Your father has no comments.

Have a good swim in the morning and please let me know when you get the CD and Dylan gets his shooes.

Not much happening today.

Got up and went to school. Did all of the usual things that I do in the morning: Check my mail, write detentions for unexcused absences, check college golf scores. All of my classes went well, only sat out 3 boys in 7th period. (the same ones as usual)

After school, I had two people come in and do make up. Kristin and I left at about 3pm and i picked up my medicine from Walgreens. From there, Kristin drove home. She is getting better.

Right now I am writing this, Lexi is chewing her feet off, Maddie is barking because she is hungry and Kristin is doing homework.

At 4:15, I'm taking Kristin to soccer practice for 4:45, then I'm coming home to an empty house, except for the dogs, and I'm going to have a chicken salad for dinnr. Your dad has 9th grade parent nigh so he is going to watch some soccer at school first. I will be a woman of leisure. I hope I can stay up longer than 8pm.

I'm trying to think of any gossip. Marlo's boat caught a 36 lb. Salmon this weekend. I have never seen such a big fish of that type.

Dylan's shoes should be delivered today. I looked at the tracking and they were in Salem early this morning. We usually don't get delivery until around 5pm.

Hope your teaching went well today. Let me know which way they liked to play the tag game better.

Take care and smile pretty for your team picture tomorrow.

Things:

The fish got a newair pump. It is getting air again.

Kristin's team lost 4-0. Should have been 2-0 at the worst.

Had a good assembly about a girl that was killed at Colimbine HS in 1999. I have never seen 2000 students so quiet.

Had a Methods class today. WE talked about the state standards and the National Standards. WE also talked about safety issues in the gym.

Talked to you a couple of times today. Heard from your dad that you din't have any homework tonight. Why are we paying big bucks for you to go to school there?

Dylan's shoes are in the mail. I will let you know when I send them UPS. Don't forget to give me his address.

YOur Rascal Flats CD is in the mail.

Madie took a dump today. WE were getting a little worried. Everything is good.

I heard your dad donated $50 but gave it to Hannah.

Talk to you later. Have a good swim in the morning.

Rain, rain go away, come again another day. Yes, we had a little rain today. Like your dad said, we didn't go play golf. Instead, I fixed him eggs, bacon and English muffin. I had my usual.

I did go work out today for about 45 min. I sure like the Lancaster Courthouse better. It si soooooo much cooler in there. I get two free guest passes a month, so maybe you and I can workout during Thanksgiving, depending on when swim practice is.

Didn't do much else except watch football, watch Maddie to see if she would poop and go to Roths. Oh yeah, I did some laundry without leaving any socks on the floor.

Cassie Merrill is not playing soccer for Eastern Washington this year. Have you heard anything?

The girls finally won a soccer game, beating McKay 3-2.

West Salem football beat North 48-0, we lost to Centennial 24-14. Zach Brown and Steven Rodriguez (a good little soph) were out. At least is wasn't a league game. Next week we play Redmond. I will probably get in two subbing days for the Arizona trip this spring.

Glad you had a nice weekend and sorry that you are bored because you have all of your homework done. Doesn't that feel good?

Interesting to see when you get the practice schedule. Maybe you won't have practice? Maybe you don't have who is going to Boise yet becuase he want to talk to Hannah and Sadie. HOpe it goes well.

Maddie's Home

Your dad and Lexi "listening" to the Duck game. (It was half time)

Maddie is home and everyone is happy. All started last night when Kristin found Maddie with a particdal footie (looked like a heel cup). We had to leave her at the vet all day today. They took alot of x-rays and gave her berium to look at her insides. Now she is going to poop white for awhile, take medicine and eat bland food. She is really excited.

WEnt to OPH this morning and Costco. Didn't go to Washington Square because of the dog. Go the grand parents each one of those digital picture frames so when you come home at Thanksgiving maybe we can download some of your pictures on there too.

Watched the ducks lose and went to pick up the Mds at 5pm. Now I am getting dinner ready: costco chicken, baked beans, and Kristin's favorite noodles. After dinner we are just staying home watching TV

Tomorrow, we are playing golf with the Cross' at 9:15 if it doesn't rain.

I bet you will be a DD tonight unless you saty at the guys house.

Talk to you soon.

Listening to Rascal Flatts CD

Quisno's night tonight. Every Friday night during football season.

Your sister got to drive tonight. I forgot her backback at school and she mentioned it while we were picking up dinner. We went after dinner. She could only drive one way since her wallet was in her backback. She actually did real well for onlye the second time.

Busy day today. Had 7th period. When I got three of the boys out of the class, it went real well.

After school I had about 8 students come in and do make up. They didn't want their name on the "F'er list. Sometime it's nice to work with those kdid one on one (or eight on eight) because you get to know them better and they don't have to act up in front of their friends.

Waited at Whitaker until 4:35 for Kristin's practice to end, then quizno's, then you know the rest.

Hope the Mac and Cheese went over well. I knoew there was a reason that you took all of the Culinary Arts classes. Why don't you ever fix dinner at home?

Tomorrow morning we are going to OPH then taking your sister to Washington Square (remember, she doesn't know). We need to be home by 12:30 because the Duck game is on. They are playing Cal. ESPN is going to do their national broadcast from Autzen Stadium. Cal is ranked in the top 10 and I think Oregon is 11-13, somewhere in there.

WEll, what were the scores today?

Saty warm. It looks like you are going to get below freezing. WE got about 1/2 of rain today. It's supposed to be ok tomorrow then rain until next weekend. Isn't that something to look forward to.

Have a nice weekend and get some sleept your red haired grandmother won't be visiting you in Boise.

(with the new point system, I have sadie and sara tied so it depends on their scoreing average in qualifiers for who plays #5) Good luck Sadie.

Congrats on your 78 at Highland no less. You are on your way.

Long day today. I got home from the concession stand at about 8:30. Ate dinner (frozen Beef Tri-Tip Sandwiches from costco.

I just helped your sister with the printer. It wouldn't print but I took care of it.

School was good today. I had a couple of people come in and do some make-up. We have to have 3 week grades in(really 4 week) so that they can check for multiple "F"s. this has alot of students mad so they are trying to get make-ups done.

Your sister won 5-0 against Mckay. I was watching their varisty girls team play their varsity boys team and they didn't look half bad. It's not like the old McKay.

the concession stand was busy toningh and we made some pretty good money. I don't have to work next week but will the week after that.

As I told you on the phone, I worked a period so that I can come and watch you in April. One down adn Three to go. It was in PE and it was easy.

Theweather is supposed to get nasty for the next week with real rain on Sunday. If that happens, I'll be staying in bed with the puppies.

Whatare you going to do on Saturday with the boys qualifying? Poor Katie. She might have to study some.

speaking of studying, are you ready for your Econ test? Hopefully it will be easier than the psych test.

Well, that's about it for now. the Office starts in 1 min. Hope you had a good chinese dinner. Say hi to Dylan.

It is so nice to hear your voice when you are happy. Great job on an 82. Is that a par 71or 72? Your did and I both believe that the course must be pretty tough. Smart move with the 3 wood. Did you use your 5 wood at all?

I like this new and improved Katie. I loved the old one but this one's attitude is so much better. Had a good attitude about the psych test ( the old one would have called in tears) and is probably playing better golf because of the attitude.

This morning was a 6:45 morning with Kristin doing that leadership girl thing. At least this morning I didn't Have to deal with the sub stuff that I had to deal with last week.

7th period actually went pretty good. I ended up sitting two of the young gentlemen down because they couldn't follow directions. The class went much better.

At 1:30 I had my dermatology appt. I actually saw DR. S. (since I can't say his name). I like him because he didn't preach about being in the sun. I saw him at 2pm and was out 10 min. later. While I was waiting in the waiting room, some lady said she liked my tan. I said thanks, but the Dr's. weren't crazy about it.

Had to get gas on the way back to school. I was riding the light. Got back to school at 2:45 and met with Maghan about different possibilites for practice times. We have 5 options for all of teh teams.

Went to get Benadryl for Lexi. She really has been chewing her feet. She now gets tired of us yelling at her so now she goes to the living room.

WE had Salmon and sauteed mushrooms for dinner. Right now Maddie is in the kitchen barking because it's not clean enough for her likeing. I think she is really pissed because she didn't get to clean any of the plates becuase of the bones.

Tell Sadie nice job. She might jump ahead of a couple of people point wise to get to go to Boise. It will be interesting to see what everyone else shot tonight.

Your dad was asking about your lettersman jacket. Have you gotten that yet? Maybe you should talk to Dave about it.

Weather was good today, mid 70's but that is suppposed to change. By tomorrow night it's supposed to rain and by Friday night, there might be 2-3 inches of snow at pass level. Glad we went last week. If ti rains on Sunday, I'm not going to play golf.

Tomorrow night the girls golf team has concession duty. Kaci Linton, her mom, Kayla Pierce and Julia are working with me. It will be kind of a late one tomorrow night. Your sister plays McKay tomorrow there, so I can only watch about a 1/2 hour of it. Hopefully, they will score more than Monday. The girls varsity tied North yesterday 0-0. We had 10 shots on goal and they had 2. Right now, we are last in the league. If they beat McKay on Friday, they will move up to 5th.

Talk to you soon. Love you.

I got today for under $10.00. I am on sog 8 and it's good. So far the whole thing is good. I told your dad that I bought it and he even knew that it came out today. He even mentioned that I should send it to you. After I put it on Marlo's computer tomorrow, I will send it to you. Song 9 is good too.

Right now I'm in the middle of doing this and making dinner. It's just your dad and me tonight as Kristin has a team dinner. WE are having barbequed ribs, baked beans, and store bought potato salad. I have to get up and stir the bacon that I'm putting in the beans.......

Beans are ready to go into the oven at 5:30.

Song 10 is slow but good. Sorry you are so bored. Aren't you glad that you get to go to places to play golf. It breaks up those boring weeks. At least you are getting your homework done before the boys get home so that you can hang out. Oops, I have to get up and feed the dogs------------there. Maddie was barking and looking at the top of the refrigerator. Now, I can continue.

Do you know who you are going to be playing with tomorrow? I bet it feels good that you are just playing for points and that you are going to Boise.

What has Kylie been doing since Mark isn't on the prowl? Do you see her much?

Marlo caught a 23 lb. salmon this weekend, so guess what we are having (song 10 is good) for dinner tomorrow night? Your dad is going to fix it on the grill the good way. I cannot wait. Two good dinners in a row.

I got it figured out how we are going to come to conference this year. I only have one more personal day, but I talked to Parshall and if I sub for four periiods throughout the year and can use those hours for a day worth of subs. How easy is that?

I am working on your plane ticket for spring break. We might have you fly into Sacramento late on Friday night (song11 just started) and we can pick you up there, then have you fly out of Palm Springs or Ontario. I'm trying a couple of differnet things to make it cheaper. I will let you know when things are firmed up.

Please let me inow that the boys shot. Have a good dinner, fun with the boys tonight and a good qualifying round tomorrow. It looks like you will have decent weather the next two day. although a little cold in the mornings.

Have a good workout tomorrow morning.

Waiting for my methods students so I thought I would do this now.

Kristin's team beat North 1-0 but it should have been about 20-0. They couldn't get anything to go in.

I had my class from hell today and they took a written test. A couple of the boys asked if the test was going to count on their grades. What a joke.

The big thing. Last night at about 11:20 pm the dogs started barking and I told them to shut up. This morning, Kristin came down and wondered why the dogs were barking. Last night at the same time her bed shook. She thought it was a bad guy in her room so she hid under the covers and cried.(she had watched a scary movie last night) I told her we had an earthquake. She was so funny when I told her. i thought she was funny hiding under her covers.

good job on the speech. Hope Dylan did well. Have fun swimming tomorrow morning and I hope your math class actually meets. I bet you and Hannah both have your homework done.

How was dinner tonight? I hope better than last night.

We are also waiting for the Seahawk game. Got home about an hour ago. Like I said in your blog, you guys made a good decision about the roller skating.

Yesterday, we left about 8am and got gas at Costco. WE got up to Redmond about 11am. and checked in. For $35.00, no cable. WE were not happy campers.

We walked over to the course at about 12:15, hit some balls and teed off about 1:15. We had carts. It was very slow, really, really slow. We had a walker with us and he left after nine because it was so slow. In a cart, we play a 5 1/2 hour round. We couldn't get a rhythm and it got so cold that all three of us put on rain gear and tops. Kristin has grown so much that she couldn't even zip up her rain gear.

After golf, we had dinner then I broke the little tv in the back. I put in a tape and it wouldn't work. YOur dad got just a little upset, tried to take apart the tv so we could get the tpae out and ended up throwing out the tv. I felt really bad.

This morning, we started moving around at about 8am (after the puppies went out at 5am, ate at 6:15, and pooped at 7:30), had breakfast and left there around 9am. Your dad said that we will never stay there again. They locked the bathrooms over night and we couldn't get in there this morning. All three of us could have taken a healthy dup. They must have known about our poop reputations.

The drive home was nice, cloudy and cool, but nice.

I don't know what we are going to do for the rest of the day. I guess play it by ear. Right now your dad is working on his homework and your sister is upstairs. I'm writing this and doing laundry.

I will be sending you pictures in the mail tomorrow of our trip so that you have some of your wacky dad and sister.

Thanks for sending the points update. You read my mind. I have just a couple of questions. Why are you girls and guys not getting weekly work out points? Are you suppose to be going three times a week? Why did everyone including those not at Corvallis get the points? I hope Saddie plays well so that she can go to Boise with you. You would have someone to room with. do you think Dave will take 6 to that tournament like he did last year? Your points are solid and you automaticlly get to go right? NO pressure on you this week. Go out and have fun. Tell SAddie good luck from me.

Go Seahawks and call this evening or any time if you get bored. Your dad would like to hear from you. Keep us updated on how Dylan does.

Seahawk Puppies

Please show Dylan that his friends are Seahawk fans too. They are getting ready for a big game on Sunday.

Thanks for calling about your golf game. You will be down there soon. I know that you are very frustrated, but you are played better than last year.

Today was uneventful. I amde it thru all three periods. They all had to run the mile and did a good job. Even my two freshman classes. The majority of the freshmaen are good, just those four boys in 7th period are bad (immature). They will weed themselves out.

We will be leaving for Redmond tomorrow morning around 8am. We will check out the RV park so when Dylan comes again, maybe we can stay there. It will be cozy and if he can handle your dad's snoring, it could be fun. He might even have two puppies that cuddle with him.

Have a nice Saturday. Sorry you will be on your own for a couple of days. Maybe you can getr all caught up on your homework and sleep.

Stay in touch.

JUNE
JULIE
THE HATS
They look great. Hope you guys enjoy them. I will send 18 hats.
Today was OK. I had my 7th period that that I had to contend with and there are four boys and one girl that are a hand full.
Since I talked to you today, there isn't a whole lot to write about.
Have fun tomorrow and have a nice weekend. Remember, we are going to Juniper on Sat. and staying in the MH Saturday night.

Long day today and I'm still at school.

Kristin had to be at school by 6:45am for a girl leadership seminar. I was going to try and get alot of work done, but after reading my sub report from yesterday, I had alot of mopping up to do. I can't wait to see those lovely chillin tomorrow. I got so busy that I didn't eat my breakfast today until 1st lunch.

When I did get here my office smelled like rubber. I got my medicine balls. My aerobics class was so excited. We used them this morning. I need to come up with some more stuff to do with them, but they will be fun.

Had to go home at lunch to pick up the puppies so that they could be beautified. June and Julie will be visiting ( you know who that is?) this evening. Maddie and Lexi will show up eventually. As soon as I dropped them off I had to get right back to school to pick up Kristin to get her contacts checked. We needed to be there by 1:20. Got in there and she had two right eye contacts in. No wonder the goober couldn't see. We all laughed about it.

Got her back to school for Soccer pictures (of course we stopped at Quickies on the way back). So now it is 3:48 and I'm still waiting for her. I guess it gives me a chance to write this.

Dinner tonight is taco's.

I bet you are tired. Quite a quick trip. I know I didn't get to talk to you much after you got done, knowing that you had to go potty so bad. I was proud of you the way you handled yourself on the last hole with everyone watching. You don't birdie that hole very often and you did it in front of everyone. I was very proud of the way you never quit and kept competing. It paid off in the end. Nice picture on the web page and hopefully that will happen more often.

Met Kylie's parents yesterday. they said that the next time they come to Oregon, they will bring more clothes. I thought that was pretty funny. I thought it was nice yesterday. How about you?

had a nice chat with Dylan's parents too. Did they get back safely?

The way I read the point system, you automatically get to go to Boise. If that is true, at least the pressure is off for that qualifying and you only need to play for points. Good job. I wish I could be there but I have to save my days for conference.

Please let me know your itinerary for Friday. That will be a long day, but at least you have the weekend to recover. Speaking of the weekend, are you going to the football game?

Good luck on your psych test tomorrow. You will do fine.

Talk to you soon.

PS: now it is 3:58 and I'm still waiting.
