Met Someone New

I met someone new today. I got this phone call at about 7pm. I recognized the voice, but not the tone of voice. Who was it? Oh, it was the NEW KATIE. I was so proud of you today when talking to you. After you talked to your dad, he called me up and was very proud of you. It's the new, improved product. Because of this new found attitude, your golf game will really improve and you will have alot more fun.

Didn't do much today. Sat all afternoon at the soccer fields. Brought back old memories, most of them good. As I told you on the phone your sister played alot of goalie, mostly because of her cough. If it doesn't get better by Tuesday, Im going to call Dr. Thomas and see what we can do.

So, who all finally went to dinner? Was it almost everybody? Is everybody going to Hannah's tomorrow?

Thanks for sending me the qualifying and tournament info. It will be nice to have.

Glad you have your food money. I think that woman was out of touch in that job. I think she is probably more of a secretary than anything else.

Go ahead and call after you get done tomorrow. I will have my phone on while we are on the course.

We will have to leave fairly early tomorrow morning to beat teh rush to the Duck game. I think we will leave by 8 and the Duck game is at 12:30. Just what we need, traffic.

CLEARY'S BEST FRIEND

Here is Miss Lacey. What a sweety. She only peed in the locker room twice. She had a duck for a toy. I think we need to buy her a beaver. I will look for one and give it to her for Christmas.

It is very hot here today, but not as hot as yesterday. We turned on the air conditioning as is got up to 90. Ive been looking at your weather and you look hotter.

School was boring today. How to take attendance, how to be a team, and how to write unexcused absence referrals. More and more paper work. I still do love my job. Wouldn't do anything different.

Your sister blew up three big balls for sit-ups and basck extensions, took the puppy for a walk and had soccer practice. They have the jamboree tomorrow beginning at 2:30. She has a hair appt. at 9am.

For dinner tonight, we are having Rotissarie chicken, stuffing (which your father loves and will have more of than chicken) and baked beans.

After dinner, Kristin and your dad are doing the lawn. They need to wait until it gets cooler.

Kristin go her uniform today. She is #7 and has the old varsity uniforms from last year.

Saw Craig B. today and he is leaving tonight on the red eye to Boston with rick C and someone else. I guess he worked at school this summer.

I am now an official faculity member of Willamette. I even get a willamette ID. I'm actually going to have to work this year teaching that course. No skating this year, like the last 7.

The puppies are good. I will take a picture of Cleary's puppy tomorrow when Kristin babysits.

It's almost the weekend.

We got a letter from Dave today for the towels.

Good job on the GG. We will order the hats tomorrow.

Day 1

First day of school. Same ol', same ol'. Meetings in the morning, take Kristin home, eat lunch, and short PE meeting in the afternoon.

My schedule this year is as follows 1st-aerobics, 2-3 Personal Fitness, 5th- women's weight training, 6th-aerobics, 7th Personal Fitness. Not too bad. Earlier this summer, they had me teaching aerobics 5th and 6th. I got them to switch it.

Nice to hear that you are learning how to write lesson plans. I am interested in what form they want them. Why did you get stuck with Field hockey? It really is alot like soccer, so you will be able to come up with drills easily.

It is 85 outside and suppose to get to 90 tomorrow.

Dinner tonight is pork chops with chicken soup and mushrooms over it, noodles and your dad picked up fresh corn on the cop yesterday. I bet your Turner dinner will be much better.

Glad you like your PE classes. IT will make for a fun year. Do you like that prof too? I think you said that you did.

Tomorrow at 4:30 I have a meeting at Willamette for my Methods class. They are doing some new things (they say that every year). I'm suppose to have 5 students this year. I'm going to need to work class around your Corvallis tournament and Krisitn's soccer games. I will make it work.

WHAT IS GG?

Today I got to talk to you twice. Too bad that you are back to school, but I have to go back tomorrow.

This morning, I did three loads of wash, hanging up two before Kristin and I left at 9am. While she was at practice I went to the golf course and she won KP, went to the bank and worked out. I won't get to do that tomorrow morning.

Tonight for dinner, we are having taco's. Your dad will probably have more cherry pie for dessert. The other night, he left his bowl with crust on a try close to the couch. Guess who Kristin found helping herself, and it wasn't the brown one.

HOpe you had or have fun tonight playing Bingo. If you get a group to go, you could have alot of fun.

What is it?

Today was pretty uneventful. Your dad and sister were one over and I don't think anyone got mad. They came home speaking to each other. Your sister may have gotten KP on 10. She actually birdied it all by herself.

While they were playing I went to work out.

Then we did the shopping thing again. WE had to go to Lancaster because Kristin needed a pair of black shorts, then your dad said, why don't we go to Macy's. I think he is nuts. Kristin got two new pairs of shorts and a shirt there. Then we went to Old Navy and she got four more shorts. I hope we are done for awhile.

Tonight for dinner, I am fixing Tuna Helper and I'm having a tuna salad. Your sister is going to watch Big Bo also.

I only have one more day of freedom and you start school tomorrow. The fun times have to end some time.

SHOPPING HELL

Started off with golf this morning. Our weather was great. We got a cart so that Kristin could practice her driving. We got done just as it was getting really warm.

Wow. Your sister can shop til' she drops. We lost your dad after the first, Macy's, store. We hit Nordstroms, Pac Sun, Areapostle, JC Penney, and American Eagle. We were only gone for about 3 1/2 hours. Your dad is now on the bed resting his legs.

Dinner is going to be the tri tip that your uncle fixed down there this summer. Of course, garlic bread is included. Also, peaches and some noodles.

Another day in the Neighborhood

Last night, your dad defrosted the big freezer. We now have room for more food.

This morning, we put everything back in. Kristin went to soccer and she made the JV team. She was worried that she was going to be on the JV2 team. While she was at practice, I put the left over uniforms away then went and worked out for twenty min. I guess that's better than nothing.

We came home, ate lunch, I read a book and took a little nap. Then, I took some stuff to goodwill. Now I am doing this.

Tonight for dinner, we are having bobli bread. speaking of food, did they change your flex bucks?

After I take Kristin to practice, I'm going to the store.

Sept 1st, we are taking the motorhome to Sutherlin to play golf for two days, spending SAt. night there. We will come back on Sunday and play in the Labor Day tournament on Monday.

Don't worry about your swing. Everything will be fine. You just need to settle down. You will be there when you need to be.

If you get a chance to see the rerun of Big Bro the leaving of Jenn was classic. She was not nice leaving and they weren't nice to her either.

The trip was uneventful. The ISU Voleyball team was on my flight today. They are in a tournament at U of O for the next couple of days.

Your dad and Kristin picked me up curbside and drove home.

I fixed grilled tuna for you sister, your dad grabbed a couple of pieces of peanut butter bread and I had my usual.

Kristin and dad are having hambergers and I'm having chicken tonight for dinner.
