Then we went to 4 in the 70's and the last two were 83, 89. We have our work cut out for us. The girls want to win the district trophy so that i win all that I coach this year. that would be fun. It was suppose to rain but it turned out great. Your sister was upset that she didn't bring any shorts.

Tomorrow is the swim awards. I just have to write things about the varsity. It begins at 6:30 and I want to get done rather quickly, easier said than done.

School ws good. They did the ASVAB in the gym, so my classes were the only ones that dressed down. The rest of them went to the auditorium to watch Miricle. I'm glad that I did dress down. I couldn't handle sitting and watching the same movie three times.

Right now I am watching 3 1/2 men waiting for AI. Your dad is at school watching his girls in the first round of the state playoffs against Grants Pass.

You must be excited about heading south. I guess PSU will be there. It will be interesting to see if Justine Hix will be there. I know that you will let me know all of the gossip.

HOpe Dylan has fun in Boise. Maybe Dave should have all of you go there to qualify (good luck).

another beautiful day in paradice. Salem was a nice place today. WE got up to 57 and there was no wind.

Classes went well today. Gave two sets of notes in the freshmen classes then played badminton. during 4th period, I worked on swimming. After school, I had 5 girls come in and make up the mile. That is quite a few kids, actually.

Went to practice and had girls try on shirts. On the parent night, I will hand out shirst and bags. It looks like I need to cut 2 girls. I could keep 12 and the top 10 get bags, but I'm still debating. We did a few putting drills, including a putting contest with me setting up a putting green. the object was to 2 putt everything. then we chipped and ended up with a drill where they had to chip to a hole and putt out. That was interesting.

rode home with the windows down and am now fixing dinner. We are having sauted chicken and mushrooms, a side of mac and cheese and I;m also having a salad. We are going to eat after I write this.

Your dad had his massage and just got off the phone with him. he is feeling good. You don't know how much he is looking forward to spring break.

Hope your classes went well today. Hope you had a good workout (if you worked out) and had a good dinner. I'm glad to hear that you had some energy today. You must have some if you rearranged your room. I bet it looks nice.

Coach of the Year

I am giving myself the coach of the year award for golf today. I walked 7 holes with the newbies, teaching up a storm. WE started each hole at the 150 and played in using double bogey pick-up (and yes we did use it a few times) I wa very patient and they actually did fairly well. On Wed. we have our first tryout day. It will be interesting who will be my top 5 for the first tournament. I do have two freshmen that in a year will help me a little.

School day was the usual. Everything went fine. Kept looking at PSU"s score cards for the tournamnet. At one point, Danielle was the high person but I haven't looked at the final scores for today. They are down at Fresno State. Boise State is there too.

Got home at a little after 6 and had bacon, eggs and bagels for dinner. Now I am doing this. Later tonight, I'm going to take a nice warm bath and read for awhile.Tomorrow for golf, we are working around the green, Wed. first day of tryouts and Thursday around the green also.

Thursday night is the swim team awards. I'm only giving out about 25 letters out of almost 75 people. Jason is going to have a slide show again. Kristin had taken pictures at JV District wo they will feel included. I will let you know how it goes.

You were talking about nothing on tv. We don't even have the tv on right now. Your dad is doing school work and I am coresponding with you. wow, it is bad. Tomorrow night is AI though. Hope it is better than last night.

Checked the weather for Palm Springs. In the next 15 days it is suppose to be in the 80's. Not too bad. I was looking at my feet tonight and noticing just how white they are. That will soon change. Your dad told me tonight that he got the half day off before spring break. We should be be able to get out of town by 1pm. We are alll ready to go.

good day today. meant to sleep in but the puppies got up and the alarms went off at 5:30 and 6am. got up and read the paper. It was sunny outside.

golf was good today. only got a little wet. didn't even wear full sleeves. when the wind came up it got a little cold, but we played on.

after golf, we came home and had grilled cheese sandwiches and watched katie make a fool of herself infornt of everyone who was watching basketball. Took a little nap then took Kristin to a soccer game. She played goalies the first half and actually got to play on the field the second half. she did really well in both places.

Came home and had barbequed ribs in the crok pot and watched the Oscars. Now, she is starting to watch big brother. your dad is in the other room watching something.

Tomorrow is the first day we are going out on the course. kate and kristin are playing with the boys, and Im taking the newbies from 150 in teaching double bogey pick up and winter rules. Should be fun.

Nice day today.

I got up earlier than everyone else. Your dad slept in until 7.

We took the puppies to get their hair cut at 10 am. Tehn we went to Lowe's to get grass seed and top soil. Your dad needed to fill in the holes in the grass left over from the fallen tree.

Took Kristin to play golf for 12:07. You know what she shot. We went to look at Motorhomes and found one that we liked. It's the same size as ours but has two slideouts. It sleeps 5 in beds, but someond can also sleep on the floor. We won't be living in it full time, so it would be a good size for us. We have to see what they will give us for ours and what kind of financing we can get. We might have to wait for a couple more years too. It never hurts to look.

Picked Kristin up at the golf course, then went to the store. While there we sasw krista Hubbard. Also while there, we got the call to pick up the dogs. WE now have June and Julie and they are beautiful.

Frozen pizza tonight with popcorn later.

tomorrow, the three of us are going to play golf with Fitz and Kristin has a soccer game at 4:20.

Another beautiful day in Salem. It ended kup nicer than expected.

Classes went well today. they all had to run the mile. Either they dressed down or just didn't show up. fine with me.

Got more swimming stuff done for the awards ight next week. Also got the golf practice schedule done for the next month.

Practice went well. We were at the driving range. Kaci linton's sister can hit the ball. She will make it and if is a competitor at all might play some varsity later in the year. I will see tow freshment bb girls tomorrow for a little while. We are at teh driving range again tomorrow. iT WAS NICE TODAY. After they hit their balls, I told them to go and practice putting. by the time I got over there, they were all working around the green. I just sat back and watched. I will make cuts, that is for sure. Im up to 13-14. I will know the eam by March 4th. Only keeping 10.

First day of golf. Weather was ok, just spitting. I had 9 girls at practice today, one was at an ortho appt. and two others are on the freshman bb team. Just puted and chipped today. were thee for an hour and a half. Practice hasn't changed much, still alot of talking while practicing. The boys started qualifying today.

School was ok today. Ran the mile 5th and it was 39 degrees. Gave a test 6th and ran the mile 7th again when it was a little warmer.

After practice we went to office depot, roths and to get puppy food.

chicken and salad for dinner and now writing this and watching law and order. Waiting for AI tonight. Hope I can say up and watch the whole thing.

sorry that I haven't blooged, but i have been pretty busy.

Thursday:

Nice day. Went to school and taught 3 periods. Took the swimmers to OPH. I cannot believe that some of them have never been there. They were good. the bus was late picking us up there. Have I told you how much I hate transportation? We got up to the meet as the coaches meeting was going on. the pool was amazing. A huge bubble over a 50 meter pool. they had two pools swimming. they would run the girls heats in one pool then switch to the other pool and run the boys events. the swimmers got a little more rest. Every one swam well, with just one melt down. guess who? Everyone one made it back who ws suppose to except melt down boy who didn't make it in the 200. got home at about 11pm that night.

Friday:

Got up and went to school. Forgot the camera and video camera so had to get a sub third so that I could home and get that stuff. the bus left at 12:45 and everyone was in good spirits, even melt down boy. Again almost everyone swam faster. The relays did and Crystal swam a 25.51 on her realy split and the med. relay moved up to 5th. Melt down boy swam a 4:55 in his 500 and finished 11th. Parents were happy and it was the first time I talked to mom and she had a smile on her face. She knows that he has a problem. On the way home we stopped at a pizza place in Gresham. It was wonderful, and inexpensive. got home after midnight.

Saturday:

Left home at 8am. Got dutch Bros, but no new stickers. ruined my day. had an uneventful ride up. Got here at about 2:30 and took a nap. Had dinner and played shanghi. I won, your dad didn't.

Today:

We are sitting here and I'm writing this on your dad's computer. We can only sit in one place and get the internet. It's a little slow but it works. Poppy is fixing breakfast. We have a t-time at 9:36. I will send you a picture of what a green golf course looks like. right now, it is sunny outside but cool. It's a short under rain gear day, with the rain gear probably coming off.

Your sister keeps her phone off becasue she receives too many texts. We will upgrade her, but she doesn't know that yet. So, don't say anything.

Another day, another dollar (made and spent). Our weather was nice today. Would have been a great day for golf.



This morning, i let your sister drive to school. She is getting better. We even got to school before 7:15. I had time to do some things, too. I even cleaned out my mailbox. i don't think I have done that for three weeks.



Practiced at Willamette today. I talked to their coach about Adam burger. He could really excel there. Al went down to the pool to meet him. We had a lot of fun at practice. worked on relays, had diving contests and swam just a little. Everyone was there except james. I guess he had a detention.. We will see what his excuse is tomorrow. "I'm so sorry Kim". I can just hear it now.



Did I tell you that we have had really nice weather? The grass is so green..

Came home and fixed your dad dinner. Spaghetti with sausage and mushrooms in the sauce. It was pretty good. We got done about 20 min. ago and Maddie is still working on your dad's plate. At least she quit barking. Lexi is just watching her.

saw signups for golf and I have 12 girls signed up with three not on the list yet. I will have to make cuts for sure. It is really nice to work with only 10 girls.



The weather was really nice here.

Got kicked off the internet for some reason, so I had to wait to finish this until i got back on.

the temp here over the weekend is suppose to be in the 60's and 52 on sunday in Sequim when we play golf.

I won't blog tomorrow, but will Friday morning and will let you know how everyone did on thurs. tomorrow, I teach all day, go to OPH for 12:45, then the prelims start at 5pm and are over at 8:45. Needless to say, we won't get home until late. Then, I have to go through the same thing on friday. That will be the long day.

sorry about now blogging yesterday. Very busy day. Got to school and people were excited about both the boys and girls winning district. Still didn't feel good, but made it through the day. Went to practice and everyone was very excited and nervous. The 200 Free Relay still couldn't believe that they were actually swimming at state. After practice, got back to school at about 5pm. Drove home, fixed dinner, sat for a half hour, then went to a SAY Golf meeting. while there, found out that i forgot the golf coaches meeting that I was suppose go to. OOPS. Got home just in time to fall asleep in Two and a half Men.

Today, I woke up and felt better. Had some things to do in the morning at school so started out behind for the day.

classes went well. Gave notes to the PF class and taught some new moves to the aerobics class.

We are taking a bus to state and had to tell Sprague we didn't want to ride with them. Called OPH to make a reservation for thursday.

Went to practice then had a hair appointment. While there, I got your dad's valentines present, a massage. He had gone in there today because of a knot in his back. He told me that he needed to go back in a couple of weeks, so I helped him along.

Came home (our dad just called and he is on hs way home), had dinner, chicken noodle soup and did your fafsa. Now I'm doing this, waiting for AI. I have the white puppy sitting next to me, oops, she just got up.

Allly should take you to Arizona with her. Wouldn't that be fun?

Glad to hear that Dylan played better today. What happened to Mark?

FRIDAY

It's been arough couple of days. As you know, i haven't been feeling that great, put I still went to school. Friday was really tough because i had to teach 3 periods then go to the meet. i wasn'tsure how everyone was going to handle that. they handled it great. On the first day, we only had maybe 4 swims that weren't PR's. I was very happy about that. On the way home we stopped at Burgerville in Monmouth. that went over well too. got home at about 10pm that night. Didn't sleep well because of my stomach.


Saturday

layed low in the morning. kristin and I left at 12:15 to catch the bus. We had 8 JV kids come and watch. Most of them were all dressed in blue and white and by the end of the meet were hoarse. Again, almost evey swim wa a PR. You should have seen paul give the inspirationsl speech before the team cheer. he did a great job. I just stood back and watched. Every one was the most excited about both teams winning the championship. I think the best part of the evening was Pizza King. they had a ball. Great team bonding, with Kareoke and everything. They even had dance, dance revolution. Your sister loved that. Everyone wants that to be a new tradion after district. I wished that I fel better to enjoy it. there were times that I was laughing so hard that i was crying.

TODAY

this morning, still not feeling good, so no golf for me. Your sister, got up about 20 min. ago and is now in my room watching tv. I'm going to do laundry and clean up a little bit. I also need to get ready for state. this year, it's thurs. and Fri. That's nice becuase we are gong to sequim sat. morning.

It's hard to believe that golf starts in little more than a week. It will be an interesting season. We could be good if things turn out well and i get a decent 4th.

today was uneventful. made it through all three periods, a golf meeting, with 5 freshmen signing up. I hope a couple of them can play golf.

Practice was good. everyone is somewhat healthy. right now, they are at Crystal's house. Your sister might even shave her arms. That will be funny.

Sadies shoes came in today, but I won't et them sent until maybe saturday. Hopefully your stuff gets there tomorrow. I don't think the roads are great getting into Pocky.

Happy Day

Happy day in Salem land. Katie got her new phone, Sadie is getting new shoes, and Kristin is getting ready to swim on Friday.

This morning I had to be at Creekside at 6am for a SAY golf high school coaches meeting. leave it to Ward to only be one of two coaches not in attendance. When I got back to school, I told him that I put the SAY golf stuff in his box. He then remembered the meeting.

School was ok today. My freshmen are really doing well in the classroom. I have noe boy who has died his hair black, wears the make-up and has his hair cut like a girl. He is a piece of work but a decent athlete. He doesn't put any effort in class though and after two days has 38%. My 7th period Aerobics class is full of rookies and they aren't too much fun yet. I will work on them. My Women's Weight Training class is good so far, but it's too early to tell.

After lunch, I mailed your packages. I just checked the tracking and it says that they have been sent. I will check again in the morning and let you know where they are.

Practice went well today. Heimie was there and everyone was happy to see him. His son is doing well and they actually have to wake him up to feed him. I never had any girls that I had to wake up.

Your dad had dinner done when we got home. It was costco roast beef and his cheesey potatoes. It ws good, but since he cooked he said that he wouldn't clean up. guess who did and your first two gusses don't count and it wasn't Kristin.

Right now your dad is sitting next to me trying to find something to watch on tv. The puppies are playing Wild Kingdom. Oh, your dad just found Deja Vue.

Tell Dylan that I hope he feels better. Your dad says that he will feel better when his new shoes come. I hope AI is good tonight, because that's what I'm going to watch at 8pm.

Sorry

Sorry that I didn't write last night but I was trying to make you some money. I think we did ok.

Yesterday:

Pretty uneventful. School went as usual. I do get tired of giving out lock combos but girls are not too worried about remembering them. My personal fitness class this day is good. so is the women's weight class and my aerobics class.

Of course, practice is alot different with only 35 people. Everyone is starting to feel their oats, but I need to remember that patience is a vertue. then, last night, we went to H and r Block to do the taxes. We didn't get home until almost 8pm. Yourdad ws very hungry, so I fixed him leftover soup and a Philly cheese Steak.

Today:

Got to school and had a staff meeting. We talked about gangs and how to recognize them. It was interesting and not very long. good day again class wise. They are all good.

We are having a heck of a time trying to get a bus to district. The district needs to get us there early, before the building opens. so right now we stand in the rain for a half hour. Hopefully, tomorrow we will have it figured out. keep your fingers crossed.

Practice was good, but the broken 100 was not very good. It makes me kind of worried. I guess we will see what everyone looks like tomorrow. Two people were at home throwing up and not at practice today.

It's kind of nice to sit here in bed, watching tv, and using the computer. The internet is so much faster. I can even use the internet in the car. Your dad says that I won't be on it for too long because the battery won't last too long.

Your dad called us tonight while we were coming home from practice. he wanted us to know that the puppies had already been fed. He didn't want them to get a double dose. You know that they wouldn't tell me themselves.

Our weather is suppose to get much warmer. they are worried about flooding and avalanches in the mountains. I would like it half way decent when golf starts in a couple of weeks.

It's finally the weekend. Eventhough we oly went to school three days, it seemed like a really long week.

The meet yesterday was ok. WE had a couple of dq's and a missed race. That killed us. We could have beat their boys. Hopefullythey learned their lesson. The girls swam ok. It was had when most of them had not been in the pool for 5 days. Only one more week until district.

Had to get the district entries in today. I'm always afraid that I'm going to make a mistake. I guess I will find out sunday at the seeding meeting.

We are going to Verizon tomorrow, then have the JV meet. Jason won't be there so I hope I can get all of the splits for the relays. It could be tough.

Sunday, we are suppose to play golf, but it's really supose to rain. Fitz is coming over for the game.

Right now, your dad is at a game and the puppies are watching us eat popcorn. they have been real bad about getting up in the morning.
