It all started yesterday, the car started acting funny. It only did it once, when I was picking up Kristin from Stephens. I dotld your dad about it last night. We decided to use it this weekend to see what would happen. We didn't even make it to OPH and we couldn't drive in D or 3. It would only work in 2 and it started to sound funny. We got it home and traded cars. By the time we got back to OPH, we couldn't eat there because there was a 15 min. wait and Kristin had a golf lesson at 9:30. We went to Shari's then to her lesson.

Her lesson was good. Larry changed her grip and told her not to take such a big back swing. He also changed her stance just a bit. She started to get more distance and was pretty consistant. Even when she didn't hit teh ball well, it still went where she aimed. Good Deal.

WE got home and I called AAA to tow the car. He got here by 11:30. We followed him to Cap Chev and droped it off there then went and got a hair cut.

Oh yeah, between lesson and hair cut I had to order a rental for the golf tournament on Monday. I had to call Maghan because I can't drive the vans any more. I'm not certified. Fine with me.

We went to the store after hair, then came home. Later on, we took a drive to silverton to see whre your dad is going to have his interview. That's where we ran into the hail. Quite a picture, huh?

Came home and had soup and sandwiches for dinner.

After dinner, I downloaded my new Alan Jackson CD. I'm listening to it right now and so far I like it. Your dad is working on his computer with Maddie is resting against him. Your sister is upstairs, bored. She is ready for PS also.

Kristin went to Stephens yesterday to be with Mrs. McKinley. McKinley only called her Katie a few times. You need to go and see her when you come home from the summer. She still remembers you and would probably get a kick out of seeing you. I guess, Kristin graded papers and ate lunch with the staff. That was her best part of the whole visit.

Tomorrow, we are going to play golf. It is suppose to be the nicest day of the week. I will ask Fitz if I can barrow one of his three vehicles for a couple of days until the car gets fixed. It would be tough getting to practice without wheels.

I know what you are doing tonight and you probably won't read this until the morning so I hope you were careful and I hope you had fun.

Glad you are feeling better and this cd is good. You will like it.

It's scary. Your dad is playing with my phone. You might have gotten a text from him. He is upset because you have not responded yet. Hope you did it in a timely manor.

Right now, dinner is cooking, pork chops in cream of mushroom soup with extra mushrooms and noodles. Your dad wanted dinner rolls, so he is having those too.

School was good today. Kids were good. One more day in the classroom with the frosh and they did a good job.

After school, the team went to the driving range. It was a good day. I video taped most of them and they finally understood what I was talking about. The girls are really starting to hit the ball well.

You have not returned your dad's text yet. He is an impatient man.

The puppies are sitting in front of the heater. Maddie"s is trying to burn out her eyes. Lexi is doing her foot thing.

Everything is hunky dory in Phillipsland. Your dad is really ready to go to PS. Are you surprised?

HOpe you are feeling better. It's too bad you only have one class tomorrow. Just remember, you have 4 on Monday. I know you needed to be reminded of that.

WE love you very much. HOpe everything is going well.

Another day another dollar. Just another day in the neighborhood. School was fine and classes went well. In the freshman classes we did our first conditioning day. They did well.

I just got your text and will be watching AI soon.

Had qualifying today and my #4 shot a 55, and #5--59. Had a freshman girl shoot a 60 which is a big improvement. Kristin played with her and said it was real. She just neeeds work around the green. She gets real fast in her swing when she wants to hit it further.

Your dad got home just after we did and so I fixed dinner. You probably ate better than we did. I had chicken adn the other two had hamberger helper.

Your sister is in the back watching some tv show.

Tomorrow, it's really suppose to rain so we are going to teh driving range and I'm doing the video thing again. Friday we don't have practice but I have to be at home so that the guy can come inside and put traps down for ants.

Your dad is real excited about PS. WE are planning on leaving as close as 1pm. so that we can stop in Redding for in 'n out. I'm ready for that.

Do you think you will ever get on a golf course?

Say hi to Dylan and I hope you get some good sleep tonight.

Love,

Blogging on an AI night. I am planning on watching tonight. Without even watching, I bet the girl from Oregon goes home. She is not very good.

School was fine today. It's always hard to go after a match day. Other schools played much better than we did. Ashley shot an 85 at Oak Knoll, but Sprague beat them . Both teams were in teh low 400's. I don't know if Oak Knoll is easier or not. It's hard to play when the other team only has two people. We will see how we do on Monday at Tualatin.

Weather turned out nice. I taped chipping today. I think they enjoyed it. They could finally see what I was talking about. Becuase the weather is suppose to be better tomorrow than Thurs. we are going to qualify. Thurs. we will hit the range. Kate, Kristin and Julia don't have to qualify tomorrow.

Your dad was out of the building today and was at a training for the district all day. Tonight he has something at school, I'm not sure what it is.

Have you been checking teh weather at PS? It looks really good so far. We are ready to go.

Hope you get to go out and hit tomorrow. It llooks like your weather might turn for the worst after that.

Talked to the old ISU BB coach, Jim Boutin today. I was wearing my ISU sweatshirt and wondered why I had it on. I told him you were there playing golf. He asked if Dave was the coach. He knows Dave pretty well I guess. The next time you see Dave please tell him that Jim says hi. Thanks

HOpe yo are feeling better and you get to do some things tomorrow.

Good day on Friday. Had blood drawn, sat thru a writing workshop and came to the beach. The ride was nice, heard from Katie on the way. Went through some rain, but it wasn't bad. Got here around 5:45 and got all hooked up. Had chicken noodle soup and PB&J sandwiches. I put extra chicken in the soup. If you like good soup and want more than one meal out of it, get the Bear Creek soup. They have different flavors and it's really good. Went to bed kind of early. No TV in the back. We had to throw it away because I put a video in the wrong way last fall. While in bed, we had a couple of drenchers (rain). At midnight, your dad's stomach started to hurt. He went up to he bathroom, then kicked Kristin out of the couch and back with me.

**********************************************************************

This morning, woke up to partly cloudy skys (that was after the dogs went out twoce, ate breakfast, had a treat, and had a siesta). Right now, I am doing this, your sister is still in bed, Maddie is on the couch with your dad, Lexi is with your sister, and I'm drinking coffee. I already bought two songs off of itunes.

I'm not sure what wwe are going to do today. We will either go shopping at the outlet malls, or going to play golf at Agate Beach.

***************************************************************************

We were driving by the outlet mall yesterday and on the big sign I saw a Nike swoosh. do you think they now have a Nike outlet store? I sure hope so. If we go there I need a new pair of shoes.

HOpe you are feeling better, and I will send you some pictures of out trip, if I get any good ones.

I sure hope you don't get Dylan sick.

Only two more weeks until Palm Springs. I have not checked the weather yet today.

Have fun at teh BB games.

Sorry I didn't blog last night, had to rest before AI. I was not impressed with the girls. It is the year of the boys.

Gave tests yesterday in my personal fitness classes. Grading day is tomorrow, so I had to get it done.

golf practice at the range was good. I pulled them together and told them what their qualifying rounds were last year compared to this year. Almost all of them were about 10 strokes better this year each day. Julia was the only one that improved just a little. Went and hit balls then and Kate had a terrible day. couldn't hit a thing and got all worked up. the old Kate that we know and love. she will be better. Don't tell her I told you that. You might want to get in touch with her just to get in touch. That would make her feel good I think. she had a great qualifying and she might fell a little pressure playing #1 on Monday. We are playing McKay. Give her some workd of wisdom.

Your dad is taking the motor home in today to get the tires blown up a bit. We are ready to go tomorrow. One thing about taking it in last weekend is that cleaned out some of the old clothes that were stored in there and we don't need any more.

HOpe you are feeling better today. I'm sure I will hear form you some time.

Today it was cold and showery. It started raining during 2nd period but quit just before the girls teed off. It was not pretty on the course: Julia 50, Kate 52 (with a double bogey pick up on 2), Kristin 52, then we went to a 57, some 60's, 70's and you know the rest. I hope everyone else in the district is as bad.

Kristin had a soccer game last night and the other team didn't show up, so they just scrimmaged. Kristin was on teh field the whole time and looks like she gained some speed. I think she is starting to get stronger in the wt. room too. I need to see her on a field against other people.

School was ok today. WE only have 4 days because of grading on Friday. WE are going to the beach on Friday too. Took my two freshmen classes to the weith room today for the first time and they did a great job. They actually listen. Wow, what a novel concept.

Tomorrow is suppose to be nicer outside and Kristin is going to play with Julia and one other person. It will be better for her. Team will be picked after tomorrow night.

Don't get stressed out about school. You have made it thru before, you can do it again. Sunshine is coming soon, just remember that. You might even be able to talk your dad into a new driver if you are nice (and you find one, of course).

Your dad will be home sometime tomorrow. I think he will be home for dinner.

I was thinking, if you guys go to that tournament again next year and it is a Sat-Sun. thing could we come and watch? WE wouldn't have to miss any school. WE will have to save our pennies, but I think it could work. Only if you wanted us to.

Have a nice evening and have a nice day tomorrow.
